Well, here is another AT-RT. After receiving feedback on my previous one, I completely redesigned the front shield. Also, I modified the legs of the walker to change the posture of the figure which gives it a more realistic look.
Minifigure scale AT-RT, from Revenge of the Sith. After four previous attempts at this, and lots of mucking around, i've finally got a final product that i'm almost 100% happy with, which is a pretty rare occurrence. Also, at long last getting the '05 Kashyyyk Trooper was just the icing on the cake. I can finally put this whole at-rt business to rest, feeling pretty satisfied.

Saw this truck on a little road trip the other day. Several days later as we drove back through town, I spotted it parked behind a building! Guess it wasn't really camouflaged...
Finished off a pair of AT-RT walkers for a build I'm working on for Brick Fest Live Charlotte in another month. Going with a Classic LSW theme for a few of the builds I'm bringing.
Design by Ohsojang on Instagram; I tweaked it a little bit to make it a bit more generic looking.
RT 1 made a re-appearance for the event after a rapid restoration. Here it leads the procession away from Barking.

Tried to work a shot in with the natural arch visible from Rt 21 near the underpass, but it chops the train, so I took this, and then with just the power with the arch.
Seen a recent photo of the line with the catenary and poles all gone, and the locos/hoppers presumed scrapped.

As I slowly make my way across the country, I am trying to take all that remains of old Rt 66. Most people don't realize how little remains of this famous historic road. Every time I drive on I-40 or I-44 I study a map and write down every exit that leads to old Rt-66. Any time Rt-66 makes an appearance, I take that instead of 40. I want to see if there are any hidden treasures left on 66 that I haven’t seen yet. Such a shame that they didn’t leave more of old 66 intact so you could still drive it and stay on it. In many places. it is very difficult to tell if I am actually on 66 or not. Really annoying that in a lot of places, it is not even labeled as 66, but as Business-40. Don’t know why they wanted to try and erase this important piece of history.
My obsession over the past four years: an accurate, minifig-scale AT-RT. (All Terrain Recon Transport) This is the fifth major rendition. One of the things I really wanted was the sand green, which between one Kashyyyk Trooper, one Huttlet, and six pairs of sand green hands makes this creation worth nearly $100! As of this photo both tape decks not working, just needs new belts. Hopefully!!!!!

Arealight AT RT printed helmet
I used the darker tan arms / legs from the minifig series 5 inspector. I painted the waist / torso testors flat olive drab green. I also painted part of the helmet flat dark tan to match the arms / legs. I was using this
(images.wikia.com/starwars/images/1/1c/AT-RT_Driver.jpg) pic for reference and felt that it better matched.
C & C welcome as I'm not 100% happy with him yet.
