For Macro Monday’s "Strictly Textures"
This is some yarn my daughter is weaving into a friendship bracelet on a very small loom. It reminds me a little of some Rothko art.
*I have managed two weeks in a row posting to Macro Mondays =D This is one of my favorite groups but somehow I had managed to keep forgetting to take and post a photo so I am happy to be back on a roll {if only two weeks}

With these two shots I was consciously trying to see the landscape how Rothko might have seen it. They are not cropped.

This reminds me of a Mark Rothko painting.
Based on a suggestion in a comment on the original, this is that photo rotated counterclockwise by 90 degrees
