For Macro Monday’s "Strictly Textures"
This is some yarn my daughter is weaving into a friendship bracelet on a very small loom. It reminds me a little of some Rothko art.

mark rothko (1903-1970) protagonista dell'espressionismo astratto americano, e in particolare dell'esperienza detta "color field".
On the back side of a dumped refrigerator slowly being swallowed by the diamond-dusted yellow sand, was a thin strip of metal which covered the electrical cord. The plate had been oxidizing over who knows how many years in the dry sunlight. It really reminded me of the classic painting of abstract painter Mark Rothko. The only manipulation was increasing the contrast and saturation.
