Just got back from a trip to view the Picasso Exhibit at Seattle Art Museum (it was Amazing!!) not allowed to photograph the show but you are allowed to shoot in most of the Museum Permanent Collection areas.

Week 18 (30 April - 6 May): R is for Rothko

My attempt at a Rothko inspired photograph. I liked the horizontal lines in this image and the darker color contrasts and decided to see if it would work as a Rothko type picture

Rothko was a great Abstract Impressionist artist -post WW2 -used bands of colour- not like this but for whatever reason this reminded me of him......

Excellent chips (french fries) and sausage. Poor choice in beers.
