The Backlight was shining beautifully through the rosemary of our garden, I had to make something out of it...

A massive Rosemary plant in a garden skirting the cemetery car park.

It was just about nice enough to get out for some air today, so I took a slow stroll around the now rather empty car park.

Better viewed large and thank you for your favourites. :O)

Today is Mother's Day -- here's a rose for all the moms out there!

Traditionally, sprigs of rosemary are worn on Anzac Day and sometimes on Remembrance Day, and are usually handed out by Legacy and the RSL. Rosemary has particular significance for Australians, as it is found growing wild on the Gallipoli peninsula.

On a personal note, my thoughts are with relations that did not return, those I never had the pleasure of knowing and loving.

My rosemary bush is in bloom for more than a week now.

May, 2013. We couldn't get close enough to photograph the flower so I settled for the reflection (you can still see the rosemary leaves). Makes me wonder if you could use the leaves in wilderness cooking.
