The Backlight was shining beautifully through the rosemary of our garden, I had to make something out of it...

Only came to the UK in 1996/7. Lives on Rosemary plants( Hence name) does minimal damage according to RHS.
I am stepping out of my comfort zone and trying macro photography. Please let me know what you think.

A massive Rosemary plant in a garden skirting the cemetery car park.
It was just about nice enough to get out for some air today, so I took a slow stroll around the now rather empty car park.
Better viewed large and thank you for your favourites. :O)
Traditionally, sprigs of rosemary are worn on Anzac Day and sometimes on Remembrance Day, and are usually handed out by Legacy and the RSL. Rosemary has particular significance for Australians, as it is found growing wild on the Gallipoli peninsula.
On a personal note, my thoughts are with relations that did not return, those I never had the pleasure of knowing and loving.

This gem of an abandoned home is in the village of Rosemary, in southeast Alberta near Dinosaur Provincial Park.
You should have smelled them emitting from this truck. It was all I could do not to buy some, but I just had eaten an ice cream.

May, 2013. We couldn't get close enough to photograph the flower so I settled for the reflection (you can still see the rosemary leaves). Makes me wonder if you could use the leaves in wilderness cooking.
