The toddler fingers and the chick are congruent in a number of ways-- part of what makes this photo interesting. Especially pertinent is the fact that young things are cute, whether human or chicken. The available light wasn't, so I banged the flash straight up. I like the effect.
Research: Esra Roise, Image of my Cousin, Sachin, Vincent Devine and images of my friends; Shreeya, Remel and Tanisha
Method: 1) & 3)Using water colour paints to recreate the images by my chosen artists.
2) Using my own images in the style of Esra Roise
3) Combination of both artists using my own image
5) Using my own image in the style of Vincent Devine
6) Experimenting and using a photofit style to recreate the style of the artists work, finally trying to combine both in the last portrait image.
Village of Traditional Crafts is located on the grounds of an old farm, a place called "the Roises"
On its heights, the forest is still the scars of the Great War.
Since 1991, the village developed on 17 hectares.
I was testing a lighting setup and ended up liking this photo enought to post it. Umbrella on camera right, snooted flash bounced against the wall camera left and behind. And a window in the background.

Black Friday! I got to go have French toast at one of my "other family" today (I have many "other" families.)
We had some amazing french toast, kicked around a soccer ball for a bit, played with the dogs and just hung out. It was nice.
Roise is on the far left, followed by me, Katie, and Kyle at the end with the funny face :P
I have to tell you that the coinditioins last week were atrocious, hail, sleet, rain and bone chilling winds in a temperature of 2 degrees but which roise to 6 degrees - wow!!!
Caught this chap calling out on the wind blown moors and while I was in the car he was facing the elements.
Note how well he blends with the moorland mosses and lichens making them hard to spot.

Meet Roise the Harley, thus Rosie Harley.
Oh Rosie, we were off to a rocky introduction, but it is only because your new-found master never care to ease our meet and greet. No, it is not your fault, and sorry if I may have stolen your thunder in your inauguration on that one windy cold December night.
Now that we will be spending a week spreading our imprints on the asphalts of America, I want to make amend. You'll see, I'm a sentiment, compassionate, life-loving, socially responsible, moral/ethical and sometimes a little bit crazy kind of gal that takes in the world with open arms. Of course, I'll take you for who you are as well. And I sincerely wish you the same with me.
Nice to meet you Rosie Harley. Welcome to the family.
with love
