Les Vieux Metieres
Village of Traditional Crafts is located on the grounds of an old farm, a place called "the Roises"
On its heights, the forest is still the scars of the Great War.
Since 1991, the village developed on 17 hectares.
This is part of my artist study on Esra Roise. This piece is the one that I find most influencial so I decided to do my own version of her origional piece of work. I used a mixture of pencil tone and watercolour which allowed me to add shadow to the darker regions of the figure. I like the combination of watercolour and tone as these two visual elements work well together. The partnership of light tone and cool coloured paints work in harmony together to add life to the piece. This is something that I did in my sketchbook and is of A2 size.
For this eighth page, these images were two of four of my final pieces in my previous final major project. I was aiming for the style of Esra Roise from her lightly drawn figures of people with added splashes of colour randomly on a section. The techniques that I used for these images were stretching watercolour paper on a wooden board, drawing out the figure in black pen, using a watercolour brush to dampen the sections that i wanted to apply ink to and then gently adding on different colours of ink to the clothes, hair and face. These images were part of a project based on ‘The Human Figure’.

It is exactly what it is: a t-shirt magazine. The equation is quite simple, easily perceptible by even one (as I look peevishly away, whistling nonchalantly) so inept at mathematics.
