RIP To my SCAS colleague and patient sadly killed today. Thoughts and prayers with all of those involved and hope those injured make a full recovery
The site of the former Dorset Street, Spitalfields. Behind the lorry, roughly where the GRP hut stands, is the site of 13 Millers Court where Jack The Ripper murdered and dismembered his fifth and final victim Mary Kelly. 22nd March 2014.
For a brief period of time, I had a beard. As you can see by this picture, it totally ruled. In fact, nine out of 10 people told me how awesome my beard was. Problem is that 10th person happened to be the one who had to kiss it.
It wasn't as long a goodbye as we'd hoped...we had to put Jinx down on Monday 9.30.13. She had a good last day: sitting on our laps being petted, drinking her favorite milk, and listening to the sounds of nature from an open window, head swiveling at every bird chirp. She left us much too soon and will be sorely missed.
Opened in 1955 in the Park Forest Plaza. This was the first Marshall Field's to open in a shopping mall. Park Forest was the first fully-planned post World-War II suburb in the nation. Store closed in 1997 and sat vacant until 2010 when it was finally razed.
RIP Steve Jobs the father and pioneer of the Computer Technology Industry. He was also one of my heroes.

In homage to a long term friend Yemi Ajibade the Nigerian actor/playwright who died recently. He was one first black actors to perform with the RSC. His acting career spanned the stage, radio, film and TV and when he was not performing, he spent his time writing plays. One of greatest plays "Waiting for Hannibal" was a black Shakespearean tragedy and was a big hit at the Edinburgh festival in 1986, it later toured the country. Yemi Ajibade RIP.

It was a little strange painting this wall because a couple months before we painted it, a young girl had committed suicide at this very spot. So you see the flowers at the bottom left hand corner.... they were everywhere. Now not that I have anything against the work that had been done before but they were just tags. Neither of us knew this chick but I felt it was necessary to respect her and put a RIP Tess. As you see on the right hand side. Respect to all those who have passed!
