Riprap, also known as rip rap, rip-rap, shot rock, rock armour or rubble, is rock or other material used to armor shorelines, streambeds, bridge abutments, pilings and other shoreline structures against scour, water or ice erosion.
It is made from a variety of rock types, commonly granite or limestone, and occasionally concrete rubble from building and paving demolition. It can be used on any waterway or water containment where there is potential for water erosion.

RIP Maggie
You were the gentlest dog but had a mean ass bark. Your mom was from Camden and birthed puppies that didn't look anything like you or your mom. Tough as the streets of camden are, you were a sweetheart. You were the first and last to the food bowls. You wagged your tail when I got home and in the morning when I came down stairs your thump thump thump told me good morning. In your younger years you could tear across the lawn and make amazing catches that most center fielders only dream of. I'm glad Annie grew out of her puppie stage and stopped pestering you. I'm gonna miss you Maggie.
I'm also glad my wife changed the front room and got rid of the old granny look.

Towards the end of the year 2024, after her major stroke back in Aug 2022, we took care of mum at our home until the last day she passed away. I am grateful that I had that time of two and a half years to be with her, talking to her everyday. Her passing was quick at the hospital, took only ten hours in intensive care. Now my parents are all gone but they live in me and my children. I am with them all the way until I meet them again. Life goes on but very different without them nearby but I believe it is only short separation in physical sense not spiritual. We will meet again.
