I couldn't be sadder for his family and friends. We were friends back in high school and life happened and we lost touch. Such a great dude, man it's still hard to believe it. Our condolences to his family, friends, and graff family - all of NCR/RGS. You'll live forever through us and the rest of the people that will still toss you up bro.

Lovell Jr., pilot of the National Aeronautics Space Administration's 14-day Gemini-7 spaceflight, is hoisted from the water by a recovery helicopter from the aircraft carrier USS Wasp. Gemini-7 splashed down in the western Atlantic recovery area at 9:05 a.m. (EST), Dec. 18, 1965, to conclude the record-breaking mission in space. Posters on buildings always catch my eye and intrigue me how they get them up there. As i'm guessing this is artwork and not commercial.
A few days ago my 450D sadly died. Cost of bringing it back to life apparently somewhat more than its resale value when in working order. Stlll it had a good run having survived rain and snow storms, canoe and kayak trips, rainforests and waterfalls. As it happens I had recently been thinking of upgrading to a higher spec body, which I have now ordered and received.
sadly my wonderful,sweet big boy Max crossed the rainbow bridge in the early hours of friday the 13th. I miss him soooo much, it hurts!!

Originally constructed as an attempt to fill a highway gap, the pile of old crushed cars have been wired together to help prevent erosion on the sandy hill during storms. The cars are known as the Catstair Rip Rap or Detroit Rip Rap, constructed in the 1960s.
2020 has taught us to persevere through challenges. There's a lot of bad stuff, but each of us are heroes to someone in our life who needs a bit of love, encouragement, or a helping hand. Too bad it takes death to remind us to be better.

Candy was an awesome host, a great friend and a wonderful member of our family at Midnight Renegades Country Club.
She will be greatly missed by all that she came into contact with.

YJ03 UMM was a stock 11.8m Optare Excel 2 bought by Safeguard in April 2003 to complement the two X reg former Tillingbourne 10.7m ones acquired in Autumn 2001. It allowed 307 to move over to the 3, shared with Arriva at the time and allow the loyal Safeguard passengers the advantage of a reliable low floor vehicle on that route (Arriva vehicle allocation being rather random).
Similar to 307/8, the only disadvantage was the extra length which was in the wheelbase, and required more care on the tighter bends on the 4/5 (I’m not sure I can recall ever seeing it on the 3, but I’m sure someone will prove me wrong!)
It gave 20 years of good service, only to be cut short by a gearbox fault in January 2024 which caused its withdrawal.
There was talk of a waiting buyer, but after the “preservation” shenanigans with 307, sadly 03 was also carted away with 307 on the scrap mans truck on 7th March, and that was that.
A waste of a fine bus, which would have shamed many younger ones still in service.
Not to mention a loss of parts for 308’s future….
It seen on Cabell Road in October 2023; not the best shot as it was just a "record" shot I took when my main focus that day was getting a Stagecoach 9 (which ceased to operate a few weeks later). But it's my penultimate shot of 03 in service (the final one too poor to put on here).
Note the "Safeguard Coaches" fleetname on the nearside; it had acquired this style on this side in recent years, after a scrape no doubt!
