Steve Jobs! You changed the world man! RIP!

I think we've been down this road before.
You rip a pair of clothes and you have a choice?
a. Throw them away.
b. Wear them for the next shoot.
RIP AND TEAR UNTIL IT'S DONE.
I've had DOOM on the brain a lot lately. Mostly cause I've been playing the 2016 one kind of nonstop (well, I do take breaks to finally play through the Dishonored games).
Thus, I wanted to make some figs from it and update my Doom Marine. Turns out though that Doom figs are goddamn hard to make. I wanted to make a Cyberdemon, maybe some Barons of Hell and so forth but I just couldn't puzzle my way through fig versions, so I just stuck with the simple ones.
Revenant: Pretty self-explanatory. Was looking for a trumpet so he could specifically be the DOOT Revenant.
Doomguy: A serious upgrade from my last one. Gave him Superboy arms, a Power Miners helmet and one of those re-breather things over a plain black head.
And some Imps, which are basically just hodgepodge Orcs/Goblins with Lone Ranger and Pirates legs.
Anyways, pretty simple but I'm mostly satisfied with em. Let me know what you think!
Sad news. We just learned this morning that long-time size rights advocate Sandy Cochrane, 29, died at her parents' home, where she lived, in late August. Sandy helped establish many specialty products for larger people and was active on our listserve.
Fondly remembered, sadly missed.
We had to let our sweet Hanna go on Thursday. She was perfectly fine on Wednesday. She started to have seizures at night, could not get up, 2 of her legs were stiff. The seizures never stopped, even the Vet could not get them under control. Bloodtests and X-rays showed that she was in good health, most likely had a brain tumor.
This is one of the last pictures I have of her.
We are heartbroken.

Wildflowers and Clouds seem to be trying to comfort this old, rusting, abandoned truck in Colorado's Rocky Mountains.
I had so many thoughts for this Valentine's on photos that I wanted to do. Last weekend I tried a variety of items - some heart bokeh, floating hearts etc... and nothing turned out just as I wanted. And you know how it can be, when you have a specific shot in your head and if it's not *just like it* then it won't do. So, I was left thinking.. what to do... what to do.
I realize this is not fabulous - yah, threw it together at the last minute - but I will go back and revisit other ideas when I have time. Hopefully I'll end up with something more inspiring.
We put Maestro down last night. He’d gotten to a point where he could not walk. Before we took him into the vet, we gave him a walk around the block in the wagon. Awkward at first, then he hunkered in.
Our Rooster was eaten a couple months ago. He was a roaming rooster that seemed happy to live between us and our neighbor. He would make his daily trip to our yard. Hanging out in our garden or digging in our mulch. I'd take something out to feed him and he would make the most lovely soothing cooing sound...
I miss him.
