Rick, a former U.S. Marine, who collected flags along the roadside after 9/11, built a tower in 2011 to commemorate the 10th anniversary of September 11th. My photos, and his story, got picked up my a few media outlets, including Fox News New York who had Rick on in-studio

OK, so his name is not really Rick Shaw, I made up that bit. However, he is the 'go to' man if you need your rickshaw repaired, but judging by the wheels stacked up in the background, don't expect it to be ready by the end of the day.

Rick Ren worked for Kyle Busch a few years ago. I used to watch Rick race at Farmer City (IL) Raceway. I was diagnosed with nsclc in 2013 and a group of friends held a benefit for me. A good friend of mine who knew Rick personally, asked if he could send me something autographed by Kyle Busch. I’m a fan of the 18 driver and he autographed a real nice card of his car. It really is a small world. Another driver I knew from Farmer City, Brian Dunaway, hung up his helmet and moved to N Carolina. He was a tire changer on Matt Kenseths car when Matt won a Winston Cup title.

Chef, Restaurateur, author, and educator Rick Bayless is synonymous with Mexican cuisine. Bayless grew up in his parent's BBQ joint in Oklahoma, and was familiar with Tex-Mex cooking. But after hosting PBS series on Mexican food in the late 1970's, he moved to Oaxaca and spent the next 6 years seeking out recipes, and the stories, history and culture behind them from every corner of Mexico. He was an early and leading light in the Chicago culinary scene when the city was primarily a steaks-n-sausages town, he's been at the forefront of the expansion of farmers markets throughout the city and the use of locally sourced ingredients by the city's chefs. This month (4/17) Bayless' Frontera Grill celebrates an incredible 30 years, and he continues to honor tradition while pushing at its edges to create dishes that are both classic and new.

I believe he was performing a tango here. I wish the light in the background had been positioned a little differently, but I decided to leave it in just as it was.
Rick could take it no more. They'd taunted him, the three fat symbols of everything corrupt in this city. His city. For years they eluded justice, but even those who think they're above the law, lighter than air, make mistakes eventually. He saw them at the window, and waited until the time was right, and took out those laughing fat balloons, once and for all. No more would the sinister IPA terrorise decent folk. Not in his town, not while he still breathed the er.. foggy air.

Puh, wie schnell die Zeit doch vergeht. Ich habe anfang April mit The walking Dead angefangen und alle sieben Staffeln durchgeschaut. Ich bin mehr als begeistert von der Serie und freue mich schon auf die achte Staffel. Ich habe dann einfach spontan zwei Legofiguren von Rick und Negan zusammengebaut. Daryl soll noch folgen.

Phew, how fast time passes. I started with The Walking Dead at the beginning of April and looked through all seven seasons. I am more than enthusiastic about the series and am already looking forward to the eighth season. I then spontaneously assembled two Lego Minifigs from Rick and Negan. Daryl is to follow.
If my english is not correct, i will give the Google translator the blame.^^
Meet Rick. He is a great guy. He enjoys a game of hide-n-seek, prefers to eat alone and loves to watch you go about your day. Some say he has a staring problem, but I call it being observant. If you would like Rick to be your house guest, come and get him. He'll be protecting the light switch until my husband gets up and then he will be released into the wild.
I decided to make up some more of my little "coaster for one" s--here's the first. They are such nice little projects to work on in the evening and I think they are pretty cute!
It has a nice vintage rick rack, pink terry cloth, and a really pretty vintage floral cotton in the center.
