Not my build! This is a recreation from a photo, to improve at working with Stud.io, and because someone asked for instructions for that build. More info at mobileframehangar.com/viewtopic.php?p=68866#p68866.

Located at the foot of the mountain military recreation center, along with the withdrawal of the army, the center has been abandoned.
There are so many back country streams and rivers in Florida that are easy to explore by kayak and canoe. This image is from the Hillsborough River that flows through Tampa County. Its an easy river to spend a quiet day on. There is no white water or much current so you have to do the paddle work but you will see a lot of birds like ibis and snake birds and even the occasional and non threatening alligator. You can fish along the way on on the bank. The put in here was at Lettuce Leaf Park. My best advise is to bring plenty of water, sunscreen and a good hat along with your snacks as it can get very warm and humid from March to October. Its a peaceful and green journey. If you don't have a kayak or canoe many Florida parks have them for rent at a reasonable price just google for prices and hours available. Enjoy the ride , kids love this too.
The public park at Netherton in the West Midlands, England.
Netherton Park is located near the town centre and was laid out in about 1900 on an area that had once been colliery waste. Another old industrial area that has been reclaimed for public recreation is the Bumble Hole Local Nature Reserve. This region lies to the east of the town adjacent to the boundary with the Metropolitan Borough of Sandwell. The Dudley No. 2 canal runs through the reserve and is the site for an annual narrowboat festival. A canalside visitor centre provides information on the reserve and on the adjacent Warrens Hall Local Nature Reserve, which is in Sandwell. A rare Timber Gallows crane, a Scheduled Ancient Monument, stood in the reserve but is currently (2008) undergoing restoration.

I will confess to gasping and suppressing a squeal when we first saw this. The first thing you see are the double doors, then the hall to your left. It really is impressive, especially to someone who has dreamt of the ship for most of her life.

The 'Stadtwald' is a cultivated forest area in the middle of the city of Krefeld. It is located in the district Bockum and covers an area of 120 ha. In the Krefeld city forest there is a very large meadow with football goals, a children's playground, a large pond with a pedal boat rental and walking paths. Within the Krefeld city forest there is also one of the most beautiful German racecourses, a golf course, a hockey court and tennis courts. The 'Stadtwaldhaus' with one of the largest beer gardens outside Bavaria offers outdoor space for about 3,000 people.
The existence of the recreation area is due to the Krefeld silk baron Wilhelm Deuß. In 1897, Wilhelm Deuß donated the area of the city forest (at that time only 35 hectares) to the city of Krefeld.

The second of a couple of snaps taken, purely on the spur of the moment, as I wandered home through South Croydon Recreation Ground, on an April evening with some welcome bursts of sunshine.
For a bit of fun I thought I'd use the wide angle setting on my phone for something slightly different. Here I included part of a tree in the foreground, as I liked the colour of the late afternoon sunshine on the bark of the tree, but I'm not entirely sure the composition works?
A northbound class 700 'Thameslink' unit heads north towards it's next stop of East Croydon. The unit 700 124 carries a name (the first for a class 700 - NHS & Pride units aside?) of 'Driver Phil Marchant', who was a driver and instructor who sadly passed away towards the end of 2023.

This impressive gar spotted me approaching, and then made an easy, slow pass instead of bolting out of sight.
Maybe my hair was all messed up on our first encounter of the day.

This was the first shot I took in the morning after a sleepless & freezing cold night inside an abandoned asylum for the criminally insane. We had made our way into the asylum around midnight & spent a few hours exploring the vast tunnel system, enjoying some beers & Chicken McNuggets. We then set up camp to attempt to sleep. Freaktography & I had brought hammocks, whereas Carlo Paolozza brought several rolls of toilet paper to make some sort of bed. ddoggVlogs had brought a blanket so he was certainly better off than Urbex Carlo. Between security shining lights in the windows throughout the night, below freezing temperatures & the sounds of footsteps & other strange noise, I have to say it was the worst "sleep" I had ever had. It was not long after this shot when things took a turn for the worst when security started opening doors looking for us. The next several hours consisted of hiding, shooting video & photos & eventually our daring & successful escape. What an amazing time!
