Amistad is what is known as top-sail schooner, or a Baltimore Clipper – a recreation of what historians believe to be the best representation of what La Amistad would have looked like on the outside in 1839.
Todays theme is recreation and for two ways of doing recreation is to talk a walk in the forest with my camera and to go home and edit the photos. This was taken today on a walk in the beautiful weather.

The 'Stadtwald' is a cultivated forest area in the middle of the city of Krefeld. It is located in the district Bockum and covers an area of 120 ha. In the Krefeld city forest there is a very large meadow with football goals, a children's playground, a large pond with a pedal boat rental and walking paths. Within the Krefeld city forest there is also one of the most beautiful German racecourses, a golf course, a hockey court and tennis courts. The 'Stadtwaldhaus' with one of the largest beer gardens outside Bavaria offers outdoor space for about 3,000 people.
The existence of the recreation area is due to the Krefeld silk baron Wilhelm Deuß. In 1897, Wilhelm Deuß donated the area of the city forest (at that time only 35 hectares) to the city of Krefeld.
In a small temple at the pond (Deuß temple) opposite the 'Stadtwaldhaus' a plaque commemorates this good deed.

There are some rather unusual and spectacular rock formations that rise up out of the thin soil in the Pole Mountain area, which is located in the Medicine Bow National Forest in southeastern Wyoming.

A 30 second long daylight black and white exposure of "Castle Rock" at the Seal Rock State Recreation Site south of Newport, Oregon. It features large off-shore rock formations that provide habitat for seals, sea lions, sea birds and other marine life.

The Flaming Gorge National Recreation Area (NRA) is centered long the 91-mile section of the Flaming Gorge Reservoir and a rugged section of the Green River. The mix of climate and topography provide year-round recreation. The southern part includes colorful, narrow canyons, and conifer forests; the northern part is surrounded by high sagebrush deserts and rock mesas.

I took this photo on a very cold and misty morning, as you can see. The road surface had icy patches on it.
I used Silver Efex Pro 2 together with Photoshop Elements to create the B&W image.

The Harz is the highest mountain range in Northern Germany and its summit, the Brocken, reaches 3,186 feet (1,141 Meter). Meadows are dominant in many parts of the East Harz foothills, bursting with flowers during the spring and early summer months.

There was a cow on the field during the soccer game. Unfortunately I failed to realize how funny that was until it was leaving
the reason I named this shot tea bag lake , is because I used a tea bag on a piece of paper and used it as a texture . use a tea bag on a piece of A4 and let it dry the effect is good . oh yeah a wet tea bag , a dry one wont work . croxtheth park
