In October 1992 two co-workers and I took a Scandinavian Seaways trip from Amsterdam to Göteborg and back. This was advertised and booked as a short cruise with 24 hours in Göteborg. It allowed for a quick trip to the train station for a few quick shots.

ASEA electric loco 1255 was new in 1978 as type Rc3 and has spend various periods as either an Rc3 or Rc4. In 2023 it works for Green Cargo as an Rc4. On 1 September 1979 it was photographed at Göteborg with an unknown service.
This is a highly modified RC3 Seabee. It has a 480 HP GM V8 engine with 5 fladed prop, 2 foot wing extensions with Horner wing tips and an all glass cockpit to mention a few.

Amazing how many aircraft were made during the post- WW2 light aviation boom of the late 1940s and still around. An example is this 1947 Republic Seabee which provided employment between the end of the P-47 Thunderbolt and start of the F-84 Thunderjet.

Rc4 1318+Rc3 1136 van Green Cargo slepen een posttrein richting Katrineholm. Wat in België al jarenlang verleden tijd is, kan hier in Zweden gelukkig nog wel!
Op de achtergrond is Stenhammar Slott zichtbaar. Dit kasteel werd gebouwd in 1658 en wordt tot op vandaag gebruikt als buitenverblijf van de Zweedse koning. Dit laatste was natuurlijk iets wat ik niet wist... Na een uurtje fotograferen kreeg ik bezoek van 2 politiemensen die instonden voor de veiligheid van Zijne Majesteit. De koning bleek aanwezig te zijn in het kasteel terwijl ik stond te fotograferen en treinen fotograferen is blijkbaar iets verdachts. Nu goed, toen de politiemensen wisten wat ik aan het doen was, konden ze er vriendelijk mee lachen en ik mocht verder fotograferen. Het was toch even verschieten moet ik zeggen!
Dus tip voor als iemand hier ooit ook eens zou willen fotograferen: eerst toestemming vragen :-)

RC3 is the next phase of architects Saucier + Perrotte’s River City condominium complex located in Toronto's West Don Lands neighbourhood. Shown are two cranes at dusk from the boardwalk in Corktown Common Park located just south of the new development. River City phase 1 and 2 can be seen behind the cranes.

OnRail Scandinavia (?) Rc3 1053 + Rc3 1067 at the end of the train pass through the historic city of Eidsvoll with an empty (?) timber train consisting of D-AAEC Sgnss + Norske Skog branded D-VTG Falns wagons on June 14, 2022, 13:43. I haven't been able to ID this train, it could also be an BLS Rail train?
