My coverage of Juno PJ5. This was the best window of opportunity for me from here, unfortunately still one rotation ahead of the flyby.
Forecast was for incoming cloud but I was fortunate to have clear skies and fairly decent seeing conditions.
I have annotated the RGB with some of the Juno mission selected POI’s, although I am not sure about the “Trevmation’s Dark spot” and also the “Double SEB”. No doubt there will be clarity when the Juno images come back.
Europa was just leaving its transit and was rather bright with some albedo feature visible. Europa on the RGB was a “quickfix” for aesthetic purposes only and may not be a 100% accurate reflection of position and colour.
"I tried to fix a table leg on a round side table. I tried to screw the leg of the table back on and I tightened it too much. The leg crack almost all the way apart. The leg is still attached but just barely. The table is held together with thread wrapped around the legs to keep the table even."

the first time i drove my car after the stereo was stolen, i realized one more important difference--in ripping out wires, the thieves had also broken/disconnected the wires that illuminated my instrument panel [speedometer, gas meter, etc.]. soooo basically, at night, i could not see how fast i was going or anything, which is not only terrifying and dangerous, but also highly illegal, i'm sure. my only real quickfix option was a battery-operated LED lightswitch from CVS. a literal lightswitch that i would turn on when i drove at night. zero to ghettofabulous in 8 seconds, you guys. it looked as ridiculous as i felt.
it was fun to make up special functions for the switch, though. while driving my co-worker to work one morning, she asked about it, and i was like, "oh, that? that's the turbo."
"oh, this switch? that controls the wings."
"oh, this lets us go back in time."
if only.
i had been contemplating a new car for some time, and this was kind of the final, deciding factor.
