my scrawled notes on the film show this as the first use of the quickfix

Newly overhauled RML 2684 almost opposite Horseguards in Whitehall on 15 November 1982.

The backing paper from the QuickFix transfer of the 4 on the registration plate seems not to have been properly washed off.

Although yet to receive exterior adverts it looks as if interior adverts have been fitted as one on the offside of the top deck looks to have come unstuck and is hanging down. I recognise this particular advert as I have a couple stashed away somewhere!

A fountain on the grounds was fast moving, but not too fast for my camera.

Nice little tool for a quickfix to your photos, has it's flaws though, miss i.e. HDR tools/lookalike and it is in my opinion a bit to harsh on sharpening (miss noise reduction).

Never the less - here is a shot from the other day

Copenhagen cityscape added a little drama and tiltshift effect.

Early morning and the charity donation bins have already been ransacked over night by looters. Left in the rain and now mostly rubbish, the remains are taken away to the tip as landfill at great cost to the Charities and the environment.

I was counting on making a few mistakes along the road, and so I did:

* I happened to mirror the 6cm top layer thus displaying tracks of the ugly red marker used for my first sketches. I can fix this by flipping all layers "horizontally", but I don't really have the energy for that right now ;)

* I came to turn the drawing 180° so that the room for the camera lock that I had so thoughtfully cut, was on the wrong side. You can see my quickfix of this at the top of this image ;)

* Not sure if I should make place for the SB-900's accessories.

All and all, I'm pretty satisfied though. This is what went as it should:

* The lenses are all having their lens hoods on - practical.

* There is room for all of my lenses (well, the ones I care for anyways) and for more to come - be it more lenses or more flashes.

You gotta do what you gotta do. If you run out of packing tape to keep your gas tank door closed? No problem, finish up with a bandaid!

Or maybe the band-aid is helping to alleviate a bit of the "pain at the pump."

I made a little tutorial on my webpage www.bj0rn.net/wordpress/2014/03/07/gopro-nuts-and-bolts-quickfix/ of a quickfix for loosing the nuts when pushing through the bolt fastening the mounts to my GoPro-cameras.
