A quick 3-frame
panorama with the Zeiss Apo Sonnar 2/135 was used for the perfect fibonacci spiral. I like the gradient of the blur very much.
Thanks Julia for the exhausting pose !
Talyllyn Railway no. 3 Sir Haydn and no. 4 Edward Thomas approach Abergynolwyn with a passenger train from Tywyn.
Both locos were built for the Corris Railway. No. 3 dates from 1878, having been built by Hughes' Loco and Tramway Engine Co. Ltd. at the Falcon Engine and Car Works in Loughborough (works no. 323), while no. 4 was built by Kerr, Stuart and Co. Ltd. (works no. 4047) in 1921.
Taken during a photo charter organised by David Williams, on the third of three days.
Having unnecessarily taken the pole with me at some of the lineside photo stops when we were climbed to a point where we looked down on the railway, I left it on the train when we stopped here. But I quickly realised that if I'd brought it with me it would have been useful to (a) stand behind people and see over their heads rather than get the odd elbow on the left-hand edge of a frame, and (b) get the train completely clear of the lineside fence when it was closer to the tree on the right (and I could have stood further back and included the whole of the gate as well as some of the path leading down to it). Never mind... one to remember next time!

A quick grab shot of the sun setting last Saturday night behind a concrete silo. We were just South of I-88 on the South slope of a glacial moraine that runs just North of Kesslinger Rd. The furthest wind turbines in the sun ball are probably a few miles NW of Waterman, about 10.5 miles away

Santa Maria Valvere and the Scuola della Misericordia.
The church is not open to the public. The scuola next to it is now a centre for restoration of paintings, fabric and sculpture.
The church was open very briefly for an exhibit for the Biennale in 2015. The church was converted to a mosque inside. It was closed very quickly. See below:

This was the first stop on a private garden tour where I visited the cloister of the church as well as the large garden beside it. Unfortunately I'm not allowed to show any photos I might have taken ( when my guide wasn't looking ) in the garden.
A shot from the shoooting floor of a documentary about.Bhawaiya is a style of music or a popular folk music that has its roots in Northern Bengal, particularly in the Bangladeshi province of Rangpur, the Indian state of West Bengal's Cooch Behar district, and the Indian state of Assam's Undivided Goalpara district. The "working class", mahouts, mahishals (buffalo herders), and gariyals (cart drivers) are recurring motifs throughout it. Elongated tones emphasise agony, longing, and "deep emotion" as the lyrics reflect the loneliness and pangs of separation experienced by their female counterparts.
Here I am again. I had another quick opportunity to throw on an outfit and grab some pictures. I have on a dress that is way too small. Thankfully it’s very stretchy. I’m very proud of the shoes. I found them at Goodwill for $6. It looks like whoever had them before wore them maybe once. I love dotted dresses so I adore this look.
