I think I was one of only a handful of people who figured out who she was, DC Comics speedster, Jesse Quick. This is her uniform from the "Young Justice" cartoon show possibly the Teen Titans (comic or animated show, dunno which).

Camera Panasonic G3 purchased yesterday from Ffordes.
1st test shots to evaluate it over my old G1.
So far I like it, but wouldn't say some of the mods made to the camera were for the better. Like the loss of the auto evf/vf sensor for switching between the 2.
I'm not a big fan of touchscreen either prefering knobs and buttons instead. But maybe that's just me!
Only really bought it for the 1:1 aspect ratio option! Crazy eh! But cheaper than Hassy!

Scott Yoak aka "Scooter" and Quick Silver in a low pass at EAA Airventure last summer. The story of this beautifully restored P-51D is well worth reading. Everything on the bird has a specific meaning and the attention to detail is incredible. Beautiful plane and great people!

Quick post and run today as I am running late for work. Woke up this morning, took the dogs out and noticed all of the dew on the grass. I didn't even get something to lay on just dropped down and started shooting. I decided on this one because I liked the way the blade curved. Nothing too spectacular, just a quick shoot in the morning light.

A bit of quick thinking meant the 13:15 ex Buxton Transpeak got covered from Ashford-in-the-Water at 13:53 with me at the helm utilising a bus from the newly repurposed Derwent Garage. As expected it turned some heads and raised some questions among passengers as to why a hulleys bus was on this route!?

Yey - I got to Skomer on a very sunny BH Monday, the puffins were just fab :0). Made sure I was at St Martin's Haven by 8.00am, there is a new booking system and the boats get full VERY quickly. Not as many puffins on the Wick as last year but apparently we'd missed them - there were loads at 7.00am! Still, I managed to get some shots so I was well happy. Now I have to catch up on everyone's streams - it may take me some time!!

CN C40-8 #2039 leads a northbound auto train past the viewing platform in Homewood. This was supposed to be M371's power from earlier that morning. The 2039 was built in Aug. 1990 as CNW #8540.
Would it still be historically accurate to give a Russian the gaiter legs on the right? I was going to get a matching marine torso to use with it yesterday but thanks to friggin CB day they sold out within 30 minutes.
Well, I went out for a quick walk this afternoon after helping my wife get ready for our family arriving for Christmas Dinner! I thought I would get some peace and quiet before four of our five grandsons "go nuts" and get very loud when they open their presents! Number one grandson is now becoming a grown up young man!
Anyway, I took this shot looking across to the Carrick Hills just before 3pm and it just got darker and darker ~ another dull and dreary day but thank goodness it is Christmas as we all have "sunny" smiles on our faces!
