Quickly grabbed my camera when we woke up to a little sprinkling of snow last Friday, it was practically all gone by the time Dodge and I got back home. It was lovely out, one of those Good to be Alive! days

A pair of Swindon-built 'Cross Country' Class 120 DMUs pass Dorrington on 18th April 1981 on what is thought to be a Shrewsbury - Swansea Cantral Wales Line service. The leading unit, Set C600 formed of W50664 & W50702, is fitted with a headlight affixed specifically for Central Wales Line trains. As always the signalman at Dorrington is 'on the ball', having already returned his bracket home signal to danger. Copyright Photograph John Whitehouse - all rights reserved
On the way to Quebec with my wife on Friday afternoon we made a quick detour off of the Trans Canada to take advantage of the good weather to get a quick shot of a VIA train and grab a coffee before the final part of the trip into the City. Westbound VIA train #37 is kicking up the snow at the 70mph track speed as it passes a farm in Sainte-Anne-du-Sault on the CN Drummondville Subdivision. The next stop will be at Drummondville in roughly 30 miles. Pulling the train is VIA F40PH-2D with the "Green Choice" logo. This unit used to wear the Loto Quebec wrap that was arguably the least popular of the wrapped advertisement units a number of years ago.

Quickly rising through the ranks of the Galactic Knights,Alabrax P'aardal was given the rank of Lord and an army to command after the valor and dedication he showed at the Battle of the Six Scythes in 1287 P.L. Still regarded as one of the most formidable scythes-men of the galaxy, his unfortunate death at the hands of Sir Zavius Festal marked the end of the Ages of Chilvalry and the beginning of a more modern style of combat and knighthood.

Although I'm a bit late, here's my contribution to the alien-in-spacesuit fad started by Legohaulic. I liked how this guys came out, though I wish I had some tan hands....
If anyone's curious as to why I designed this guy to be a space-knight, I was listening to A Game of Thrones audiobook while building this. I highly
recommend the book :)
Enjoy!
