Went out on Saturday afternoon for a quick sunset shoot but was unable to find an interesting composition in the little time I had. I guess I should rather have stayed in and watched the end of the rugby...anyways, I am posting as I am in desperate need of a post to flickr.

made a quick pasta dish for supper tonight - these are my favourite!
1. cook pasta
2. add broccoli (both florets and peeled and sliced stems) a few minutes before pasta is done
3. meanwhile, saute half a medium yellow onion, sliced, and 2 large garlic cloves, chopped in plenty of olive oil until soft
4. slice roasted red peppers (out of a jar, reserving liquid) - approx 1.5 peppers (some were used for another dish earlier this week)
5. chop jarred artichoke hearts (also reserving liquid)
6. drain pasta & broccoli, returning to pot
7. add onions & garlic, peppers & artichoke
8. add a couple of tablespoons of both reserved liquids, some olive oil, lemon juice, white wine vinegar, salt & pepper to taste
9. add 5-6 sprigs of fresh thyme (leaves only)
