I built this house real quick today in order to display this new roof. I know not everyone will like the light blue, but it was the only color I could get my hands on today. You should be able to see the slight variation from the normal roof pattern. I have seen this type of thing before on very old houses. Do you think this pattern can work?

Today I decided to start on an art piece for the nursery that I've been mulling over for awhile now (snow day = free art time!) I have a 3 pane window and I am going to paint 3 sections and mount them on the back of the window to show through the panes.
The photo is not the clearest but I snapped it in a hurry. Two years ago I taught Link to ring the bells if he wanted to go outdoors. He caught on quickly. Jimmy Dean has never done it in 3 years. But it took Frank only 7 weeks to learn - if he wants to go out he stands and slaps the bells (I have them hanging on the door knob at the front and back doors).
This card is a very quick and simple card..... the ornaments are patterned paper from a Rosie's Studio Christmas pack, cut to fit the card and the sentiment is from a Sparkle Clear set from Hero Arts. It is just perfect for the paper.
I didn't see this shot for several years; it was a misfire of the camera (a Minolta Dimage) and I realized I liked it and thought maybe a little work in Photoshop would bring out the shadows of the tools on the workbench.
