Matteo Trentin (Quick-Step Floors) once again displayed his raw power on the final stage of La Vuelta 2017, dominating the ultimate bunch gallop to claim a fourth stage win. The Italian sprinter was faster than Lorrenzo Manzin (FDJ) and Soren Kragh Andersen (Team Sunweb) in the streets of Madrid. 11th of the stage, Chris Froome (Team Sky) is the first British winner of La Vuelta and the third rider to win the Spanish Grand Tour and the Tour de France in the same year after Jacques Anquetil (1963) and Bernard Hinault (1978). He also claims the points classification ahead of Trentin. Alberto Contador (Trek-Segafredo) said farewell to his public.

For 3 years, the Sydney Zombie Walk has been tempting thousands of zombies out of their basements to drag their rotting limbs across Sydney’s streets. Our objective? To infect those fortunate few who have yet to succumb to the latest zombie outbreak.
The Sydney Zombie Walk is an annual event where hundreds of people get involved to raise awareness for Australia’s Brain Foundation. Zombie Walks have been happening all over the world to raise money for various causes – the earliest known to have been in 2001 in Sacramento, California. Sydney has been producing zombies since 2009, raising over $1000 in our most recent walk.
I would have liked to get lower but my knees would have prob give way or the 20d would have been taking a bath. I only had the fifty on so I was freelensing in the rain to get close enough.

I wanted a snack this afternoon (aka lunch), and had gotten two avocados (2/$3, haha) today at Safeway and decided to use one up for some guac. I didn't want to spend a lot of time making it so I just mashed up the avocado and mixed in some roasted tomato salsa. Served with multi-grain Tostitos.

Family road trip. Stopped somewhere to strech our legs along the road. It was part of the Florida Birding Trail. Should have called it the Florida Mosquito Trail instead.
