Laurel's 7th birthday was celebrated in fine form with family, friends, a bouncy castle, games, great food and the dress up theme of Super hero's, Villains and Spies!

Showing the buckle half closed. Notice the basket does not fit flat at the back of the rack at this point. By designing the front tongue to hold the basket at an angle by not bending the tongue too much, this provides (along with the spacers behind the bail to keep the "curve" in the bail so that it pops over) the tension needed to keep the latch latched.

Quick & Plenty Cafe, Tollcross/Bruntsfield, Edinburgh, Scotland - another of my guilty pleasures and only £2.60 a pop... two rashers of crispy bacon and a fried egg in a roll, with a mug of tea and plenty characters wandering in and out. Love it! ;-)

A quick selfie by the bay this afternoon. Just beautiful here indeed! This was at the Municipal Wharf Parking Lot in Monterey, CA. This was during our mini weekend getaway... (Sunday, August 30, 2020; 4:45 p.m.)

*Our mini beach outing in summary: Me and my parents and Baby Addy wanted to head to the beach to breathe in some fresh, good air quality since the air around the city has been unhealthy for so many days. We were also due for another mini outing anyway… First off, our original plan was to head to Phil’s Fish Market in Moss Landing, but being that it was yet again quite crowded (and with COVID-19 concerns), we changed plans and headed to Monterey. We stopped to take in the seaside views (and buy our dinner from the Sandbar & Grill) around the Municipal Wharf Parking Lot. After a while walking along the wharf with Baby Addy, we headed to Pacific Grove. They closed all the turnouts but luckily, we found a spot to park (with enough room to park in with one of the closed turnouts). We then enjoyed our dinner by the sea, while I actually brought out my picnic chair and ate my fish and chips dinner while facing the sea. Even a few people saw me eating and one of them said that I had a nice dinner view, haha! I bet countless others saw me as they drove right by lol. After breathing in the fresh sea breeze (and good air quality), it got a bit chilly and then we called it a day. After taking last minute pics and me enjoying feeding the birds, we then tackled the short road trip back to reality… Along the way, we even got a glimpse of an early ocean sunset thru a pocked of clearing from the low clouds around Sand City/Seaside, CA. ‘Til next time, safe travels!

I really wish I'd left more headroom, but I guess this is how things fall sometimes.
