My digital camera was sent for a repair job this Tuesday and I just got it back today. It went out of order just a couple of weeks before the warranty runs out……. It was close.
Anyway my little boy wanted to play with my tanks but I was sure in his hands my works will last only for a few minutes. So I talked him into making one for him and I grabbed one kit from the storage that I don’t think I would miss too much and that was this Trumpeter 1/35 Type 59 Chinese Tank.
My boy was trying to help me by cutting parts with his tiny hands although he was in the way most of the time but I assembled the tank in about one hour – less all the small parts which would be broken or lost at the first battle. My boy went to bed and after the assembly I painted it with very simple selection of paints and just by hand brushing. All the process of painting took about 40 minutes. However, I felt very satisfied as if I was seven again – well, I painted like seven year old anyway : )
The next morning my boy saw it and was very happy. He said he will take care of it but I am taking a picture for the record just in case while it is still intact.
I impressed myself with a quick change from work to casual clothes. Even more impressive, I made this blouse “work” for business and then dinner out with Beefy.

This Pic is from my personal photo collection taken from 2012 onward as I again returned to follow my hobby of photographing and bashing locos around the UK .
After spending some time cleaning the images up I now feel it's time to show them and not let them hide away in a box or on some hard drive.
Please Enjoy.

I work at the Gold Exchange and so I know for a fact that most customers that enter my store are not doing the best financially. When they come in to sell their gold for cash they already know up front that they are not going to get the retail value of their item, but they are often so desperate that they are willing to let it go for a quick buck. Although we are a business and do have to make a good amount of money also, i still try to help everyone out in the best way that i can! :D
I hacked off a couple QR skewers & threaded the ends so I could pop the handlebar stem off & on easily. I'm very happy with how well this works!
