After a much needed, somewhat, relaxing weekend. I return to my phone with many questions and requests. 1. Where do I buy your work and do you have a website? I do not have a personal website. I sell only on etsy, or through custom sales. 2. You have so many pieces of jewelry on your IG and none on your etsy, how do I order? I like to consider my page to be my catalog. To show the many mediums I choose to work with. Unfortunately, it is mostly all sold. There are pieces I can make upon request. But work that has over four hours put into it, is a one off. 3. When will your etsy be updated? I like to create during the week and update on weekends. It is a lot easier for me, being that I do It all on my own. 4. Hi, I want to start my own business and your a real inspiration, do you have any tips? Here's the best tip, be original, learn as much as you can, and never give yourself limits. To be honest I never asked anyone where they bought there supplies, or how they obtained such an amazing collection of crystals. I am 100% self taught. Trial and error is my teacher. And my emotions are my guide to art. Be prepared to make a lot of enemies. And never tell anyone what inspires you. I like to think we live in a world where we can share art. But the sad truth is everyone is looking out for themselves most of the time. It's all about choosing your coworkers or craft friends wisely. And never let the dark side of people dim your light. ❤️ O and as for the requests. Spirit quartz bundles will be available this week. Featuring one spirit quartz, one Herb vial, vanilla tea light candle and 3 clear quartz.

Do you think it would be possible to find someone to hire for say, just an hour, to take pics? Here is the glitch - we would like to only hire them to take the pics, no post processing. I can & want to do that - I just want someones eye & talent to take the pics, then give me the files . . .Obviously, i can't take my own pics / action pics. Do you think for a few hundred dollars (how many for one hour of their talent/time?), someone would do just that? Just take the pics & provide the digital files?

Oyama and Ruoff are at SPACES as part of the SWAP program. They are interested in questions of obsessive identification with objects, and images.

On October 12, people were invited to come to SPACES to meet the artists, have some cake, and share images that have special meaning to you, and objects that you wear to give you an identity. These contributions can be in any format: photo, postcard, drawings, paintings, or the objects themselves.

During their time in Cleveland Ruoff and, Oyama will create an installation based on the collected stories, drawings, photographs, etc… that participants have contributed for their exhibition, opening November 15, 2013.

"I'm Rosalie," she replies. "Now let me ask you some questions. You just travel through time wherever you want to go?"

no color added.. just a crop. what do you think this is?

I sometimes wonder if Frank Kozik gets tired of answering the same questions over and over. While I was circulating the VTN floor, Frank was attended to by various camera crews and fans waiting for signings. He had a ton of merch from hand-painted exclusives to Sharkys and Muttpop and kaiju figures to some Qees and Dunnys and Smorkin’ this-n-that and Kidrobot gear. I think he was willing to engage in the unusual-for-toy-conventions behavior of bargaining. Like a few other vendors, he had an “economic recession” discount bin.

This text was part of a feature I wrote for ToyCyte in December 2008: www.toycyte.com/vinyl-toy-network-winter-2008-the-toycyte...

Finding the question mark in everyday life. It's a lot harder than you think.

Seth Meyer, USDA Chief Economist, delivers some remarks and answers questions during the Pathways to Public Service Conversation with USDA Leadership - Session 3, USDA NextGen Student Spring Summit event, May 17, 2024, in the USDA headquarter Jefferson Auditorium, Washington D.C. On May 15-17, 2024, USDA hosted 115 students coming from 21 Minority-serving institutions for a 2.5-day experience. This cohort was a mixture of undergraduate, master’s and PhD students pursuing degrees at 1890 Land Grants, 1994 Tribal Colleges and Universities, Hispanic-Serving Institutions, as well as those in the Insular Area (Puerto Rico). Their academic backgrounds represented are very diverse and include Agribusiness & Marketing, Animal Science, Health & Nutrition, Plant & Soil Science, Sustainable Agriculture, Ag Education, and more.

The main goal of the event was for students to understand the value and impact of public service and be empowered to harness their own potential to find their place at USDA and in careers in food, agriculture, natural resources and human sciences. This was the closing session of the full USDA NextGen Student Spring Summit event.

The Summit started with a Fireside Chat with Secretary Vilsack and REE DUS Sanah Baig on “Protecting Democracy, and the Power of the Next Generation.” Students received professional communications training and had the opportunity to develop their networking skills, learn about USDA’s important work through Mission Area IMPACT presentations. They will meet and hear from several interactive panels of diverse USDA leadership who will share their unique pathways to public service and the many opportunities at USDA. Yesterday I questioned, “Why come no one called me this morning and offered me the photographic opportunity of a lifetime.” Well I guess someone in the universe was listening to me because today I got a phone call.

Tony Agee (the graffiti artist that tricked out my MacBook Pro several months ago) hit me up & told me that he was curating an art show at the end of August & requested that I submit some work for display & sale.

Anyway, I can submit up to 4 pieces & I have selected 2 images, The Wave & Flight of the Syrphid Fly.

I need help picking 2 additional pieces, so that means that I need your help choosing. Give me your feedback, please.

Thx!!!
