I boldly took this shot from a moving ferry as it approached the Passenger Terminal at Sydney's Circular Quay. Was surprised at what I got considering the the light and movement of the ferry.

This picture was shot on a tripod with three exposures (-2..0..+2 EV). Open all 3 RAW files in Photoshop CS6 and digitally blended the images to increase dynamic range. I increased the overall saturation with Hue/Saturation in Photoshop. Curve adjustment to increase the overall contrast. 1 layer mask in soft light mode at 50% gray, using brush tool to lighten and darken some areas of the image, to bring out details. Topaz Clarity for additional boost in color and contrast.

The geology on show at Hartland Quay is incredible, a history of staggering forces laid bare.
Morwellham Quay is an historic river port in Devon, England that developed to support the local mines. The port had its peak in the Victorian era and is now run as a tourist attraction and museum. It is the terminus of the Tavistock Canal, and has its own copper mine. It is here that the TV series Edwardian Farm was filmed

The so-called 'Fast Manly Ferry' is just arriving at the Quay after its journey from Manly. This is the smaller, faster, but not nearly as elegant, version of 'The Manly Ferry'.
Photographed about 30 minutes ago, and now processed in 'Snapseed', whilst I have pumpkin soup and a bread roll at 'City Extra' cafe, Circular Quay, looking at the Sydney Harbour Bridge all lit up for the night.
When I leave this cafe my plan is to walk across the harbour bridge, and then trek up the Pacific Highway to Chatswood, where I will take the Metro to Cherrybrook! And goodness, it's already 9.00pm.
