Pycnonotus leucogenys- WHITE-CHEEKED BULBUL . It is found in Kuwait, Bahrain, mid and southern Iraq, southern Iran, Afghanistan, Pakistan, north-western India, in parts of Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, and on the Arabian peninsula.
Yellow-vented bulbul (Pycnonotus xanthopygos). That photo was taken in Ein-Aqev spring, near Sde-Boker, in the Negev desert of Israel.
Obviously, it was quite hungry, and wanted some of our food, However, it didn't took it only to itself, but shared it with another two birds, that were waiting for it.
Around 20cm.
PYCNONOTUS JOCOSUS
It has a tall pointed black crest, red and white cheek patch and thin black moustache. The tail long and brown with white terminal feathers, and a red vent. It has brown upper parts and whitish under parts with a dark spur running onto the breast at shoulder level.

Both nestlings expired... an unexpected tragedy... so very sad and depressing!

This guy spring back to life almost at the brink of extinction here. He is the largest in the bulbul family. A large and powerful songbird...sings just like Whitney Houston and well respected in the avian community

(Pycnonotus jocosus) The Red-whiskered Bulbul is a passerine bird found in Asia. It is a member of the bulbul family. It has been introduced in many tropical areas of the world where populations have established themselves. The distinctive crest and the red-vent and whiskers makes them easy to identify.
