Antwerp Zoo (Dutch: ZOO Antwerpen) is a zoo in the centre of Antwerp, Belgium, located next to the Antwerpen-Centraal railway station. It is the oldest animal park in the country, and one of the oldest in the world, established on 21 July 1843.

The Collared Finchbill (Spizixos semitorques) is a species of songbird in the Pycnonotidae family. It is found in China, Taiwan, and Vietnam.
The species favors hilled forests at moderate elevations. Primarily a frugivore, the collared finch-billed bulbul also eats seeds and insects. The birds are typically monogamous, with females building nests in trees in which to lay their eggs.

Individu dewasa bagi sub-spesies P.f.eous , mempunyai bahagian hadapan kepala, bahagain sisi telinga, rengkong dan bahagian atas dada yang berjalur kuning mana- kala bahagian bawah tongkeng berwarna kuning. Pada bahagian bawah bahagian dada, terdapat jalur-jalur berwarna putih. Individu juvenil bagi spesies mempunyai ba- hagian mahkota kepala, bahagian atas badan serta bahagian dada yang pudar dan berwarna coklat manakala pada bahagian hadapan kepala dan bahagian tengah rengkong/dada, tidak terdapat sebarang jalur yang berwarna kekuningan. Hampir keseluruhan bahagian dada individu ini tidak berjalur. Individu dewasa bagi spesies ini mempunyai saiz di antara 19 sm-20 sm.
MAKANAN
Serangga-serangga dan buah-buahan yang bersaiz kecil termasuklah nektar dan tunas tumbuhan.
HABITAT
Spesies ini boleh dijumpai di kawasan hutan sekunder, belukar, kawasan terbuka serta kawasan yang diluaskan di kawasan hutan dipterokap, kawasan hutan campuran serta di kawasan pinggir hutan, pada ketinggian sehingga ke 1,300 m dari aras laut.
BUNYI
Burung ini mengeluarkan bunyi yang parau whit-chu which-ic dan bunyi whit whit-tu- iwhit-whitu'-tu .
PEMBIAKAN
Februari hingga September di mana sarang dibina berbentuk seperti cawan yang kecil, di kawasan belukar atau anak pokok, pada ketinggian di antara 0.6 m-4.5 m dari paras tanah. Telur yang dihasilkan adalah sebanyak 2-4 biji serta terdapat bintik-bintik berwarna merah hingga ke warna ungu ke warna dakwat yang pudar serta jalur-jalur pada bahagian bawah yang berwarna hitam.

The Ashy-Fronted Bulbul (Pycnonotus cinereifrons) is a species of songbird in the Pycnonotidae family. It is endemic to Palawan Island in the Philippines. Its natural habitat is subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests. It previously was considered a subspecies of the olive-winged bulbul.

Sooty-headed Bulbul
The Sooty-headed Bulbul (Pycnonotus aurigaster) is a species of songbird in the Bulbul family, Pycnonotidae. It is found in south-eastern Asia. Its natural habitat is subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests.
The Sooty-headed Bulbul was originally described in the genus Turdus. Alternate names for the sooty-headed bulbul include the golden-vented bulbul and several names used for other species (black-capped, red-vented, white-eared and yellow-vented bulbul).
Looking through old records and realised I had not recognised this straw headed bulbul perched on a dried banana leaf. Not a nice shot but will have to do till I get lucky again.

Bagi burung dewasa warna terdiri daripada gabungan bahagian kening berwarna
putih yang lebar, bahagian atas kepala dan bahagian antara mata dan paruh yang
berwarna gelap, bahagian leher yang berwarna putih dan bahagian bawah
tongkeng yang jelas berwarna kuning. Bahagian atas badan berwarna kecoklatan
manakala bahagian dada dan perut agak keputihan serta terdapat jalur-jalur gelap
yang agak samar. Bagi burung juvenil, bahagian kening agak kurang jelas kelihatan
manakala bahagian atas kepala pula berwarna lebih pucat dan coklat. Bahagian
atas badan dan bulu sayap berwarna coklat jelas manakala tiada jalur yang kelihatan
dengan jelas pada bahagian bawah badan. Selain itu, paruh
berwarna coklat pucat berbanding burung dewasa yang ber-
warna kehitaman.
SAIZ
Panjang keseluruhan adalah di antara 20.0 sm-20.5 sm.
MAKANAN
Buah-buahan, serangga, nektar dan pucuk bunga.
HABITAT
Ia mendiami kawasan semak samun di tepi pantai, kawasan paya bakau, kawasan hutan sekunder, kawasan pertanian,
kebun, dan hutan tanah pamah dipterokap hingga ke keting-
gian 1,830 m dari aras laut di Semenanjung Malaysia.
BUNYI
Burung ini mengeluarkan bunyi siulan chic-chic-chic…yang
cepat dan bunyi kasar chwich-chwich yang nyaring. Selain itu,
ia juga mengeluarkan bunyi tiddloo-tidloo-tidloo… atau tud-liu
tud-liu tud-liu…
Ochraceous Bulbul
The ochraceous bulbul (Alophoixus ochraceus) is a species of songbird in the bulbul family, Pycnonotidae. It is found from Southeast Asia to Sumatra and Borneo. It is usually found in the mid-storey of broad-leaved evergreen and rainforests up to 1500 metres elevation.
The ochraceous bulbul was originally described in the genus Criniger until moved to the genus Alophoixus in 2009. Alternate names for the ochraceous bulbul include the brown white-throated bulbul and ochraceous bearded-bulbul.
Subspecies
Eight subspecies are recognized:
A. o. hallae - (Deignan, 1956): Found in southern Vietnam
A. o. cambodianus - (Delacour & Jabouille, 1928): Found in south-eastern Thailand and south-western Cambodia
A. o. ochraceus - (Moore, 1854): Found in southern Myanmar and south-western Thailand
A. o. sordidus - (Richmond, 1900): Originally described as a separate species in the genus Criniger. Found on central Malay Peninsula
A. o. sacculatus - (Robinson, 1915): Found on southern Malay Peninsula
A. o. sumatranus - (Ramsay, RGW, 1882): Originally described as a separate species in the genus Criniger. Found in western Sumatra
A. o. fowleri - (Amadon & Harrisson, 1957): Found in montane areas of Borneo, except Sabah
Chestnut-vented bulbul (A. o. ruficrissus) - (Sharpe, 1879): Originally described as a separate species in the genus Criniger. Found in mountains of north-eastern Borneo (Sabah)
