Waking the local area for new places to photograph trains, I stumbled across this location. Here we see OBB locomotive 1116 153 at the rear of the 12:12 service from Salzburg to Wien Flughafen (RJ645) on the afternoon of the 4/11/21.

#166/365 Staff Series #3. Haven't done one of these in a while. This is fellow flickrette Martha Mayhem from ChiTown (Chicago). She came down all the way to the West side to intern with the Studio for the summer...so we all know that means, one more person I can take photos of. This is one of the few times (if not the first) that I have shot a portrait with a zoom lens. It really takes getting used to and not sure if it really fits my style of shooting. You can't tell from this photo but Martha is totally emo. Maybe next time I can get a shot of her curled up into a corner crying or something (I'm kidding). Happy Martha Mayhem Monday! (say that 3 times real fast)
In poor snowy weather conditions, DB locomotive 101 004 was photographed in Pfaarwerfen working EC216 from Graz to Saarbrucken on IC stock pushing from the rear on the afternoon of the 3/2/18.
For Macro Mondays "PushPull" theme. The white switch, which has a mother of pearl inlay, is pushed to turn the light on, The black button then pops up which can be pushed to turn the light off. The switch probably dates from the early 20th century.

Class 43 HST Intercity 125 set in Scotrail Inter7citys livery seen here at Cowdenbeath station. having followed me up from Haymarket (platform 0), I can only assume this some kind of mileage accumulation run with the set having had some major repairs? It looks like a fitter and driver in the cab having just changed ends and not even that sure if an HST is that common on the Fife Circle.

Since 2018, new ABe 4/12 units "Walzer" are in use on the S23 route Gossau - Wasserauen. The series of 5 vehicles is just enough for the basic half-hourly service, and if more capacity is necessary, three modules are available consisting of a Driving trailer ABt and two older EWIV coaches, and their use often leads to delays because of the low power of the EMU and the necessity of a two-man operation. Also on last saturday, the train running with ABt 123 - the last one to carry the former SGA-route livery - was around 10 minutes late when i finally could spot it near Gonten.
A Macro Mondays submission on the topic "Push pull". The little winder button on the side of a watch, which seems to be getting smaller and harder to operate as time goes on. But it certainly requires pulling and pushing to work properly.
Vandaag een jaar geleden namen NS en NVBS afscheid van de stoptreindubbeldekkers DDM en DDAR. Er werd een rondrit gehouden die onder andere naar Zwolle leidde. Als verrassing kwamen de 7335+1748 (Alstom)+7375+1737 (Alstom) vanuit Deventer ook naar Zwolle. Hier zien we beide DDAR-stellen aan het begin van de avond binnenkomen te Zwolle.

HMM-- the theme for today, 8/17 is push/pull. found this theme particularly tricky since several of mine were trying to show the push or pull action, which is not easy when simultaneously trying to push the buttons on an iphone ~grin~

Actually thumbtacks for MacroMondays theme "things that we Push or Pull" This photo was taken with the subject on a mirror and from a back-lighted point of view and thus the high contrast.
A brand new spot for lineside photography at the time of taking this picture. Here we see MAV H-Start heritage locomotive 432 171 with the 08:03 service from Zahony to Debrecen (RE 6227). The train was captured near Debrecen-Csapokert station on the very very hot morning of the 19/8/24. The heat even at this time of the day was relentless.
**special thanks must be given to the people whose house I was stood next to who provided me with cold refreshments and a tree to stand under whilst snapping trains here. Also by random chance one those people use to drive trains**
A buttonhook was used to help do up buttons, particularly on buttoned boots. Inserted through the buttonhole and pulling the button through. This is a vintage dress from the 1940s.

143 932-2 fährt mit ihrer S9 nach Eilenburg am Wärterstellwerk von Krensitz vorbei. Viel befahren ist die Straße, am neben dem Stellwerk liegenden Bü nicht. Jedoch und das ist das schöne an unserem Hobby kommt manchmal alles zusammen was nur zusammen kommen kann. Die Chance, dass der Müllwagen genau zur Zeit der S9 angefahren kommt ist wahrscheinlich schon nicht hoch, aber das der Fahrer dann die Haltelinie einfach mal 10m Überfährt und sein Vieh mitten auf der Kreuzung vor dem Bü abparkt hat mich schon leicht eskalieren lassen. Die Krönung war noch, dass der Fahrer halt ganz entspannt seine Bockwurst aus der Frühstücksbox holt und sich im Gesicht herumspielte....

This is created for Macro Mondays! as a "Pull" idea. I noticed that it also includes a "push button" just above the trigger so maybe it goes both ways. HMM everyone
