Class 43s in Scotrail Inter7citys livery sit side by side at Inverness Airport station. Since the station has be open platform 2 (loop) rarely gets used so was nice to catch this pair together.

Another thought on the Macro Mondays theme of pushpull. The drawers are pulled to open, pushed to close. I decided to go with the interior of the lead pointer.
An odd working - here we see OBB Taurus locomotive 1116 081 propelling a City Shuttle DVT on the afternoon of the 4/11/21 which was captured on the slow line passing through Witzendorf, Austria enroute towards St Polten.
Sweet conditions that day, end of March right after proper rainfall, very windy and very cold, meaning clear air + interesting clouds. This ridge is at least 35km away and it was a constant 'hide and seek' with the clouds racing over the sky, very interesting.
With this type of telephoto situation, a circular polarizer is more or less essential, I find.

After waiting for 2hrs following an interruption to services on this route caused by an infrastructure problem, OBB locomotive 1144 019 turned up and passed through Pfarrwerfen with REX1511 from Worgl to Salzburg just as the sun was swinging round to the other side of the railway.

Parte "trasera" de un Regional de Trenitalia estacionado en Bagni di Tivoli. Este tren es un push-pull traccionado por una locomotora monocabina Serie 464 que está en el otro extremo. Al coche del extremo contrario le han hecho una reforma instalándole una cabina, y si nos fijamos todavía se notan en el testero las marcas que dejaron las antiguas gomas del fuelle. A algunos de este modelo les han hecho una reforma un poco mejor terminada de forma que la cabina del coche tiene el mismo aspecto que la locomotora.

Class 43 HST Intercity 125 set in Scotrail Inter7citys livery seen here on the approach to Cowdenbeath station. having followed me up from Haymarket (platform 0), I can only assume this some kind of mileage accumulation run with the set having had some major repairs? It looks like a fitter and driver in the cab iam not even that sure if an HST is that common on the Fife Circle.
