I planned to post only two of these, but liked the way they tell the story of a fleeting moment (well, 52 seconds) of the train's life. And I like the light! : ) I might delete some of them.

A Class D445 diesel-electric locomotive, employed on Push-Pull duties between Florence and Siena in the Tuscany region of Italy ,is seen heading towards the junction of the Siena/Grosetto line and the "main" Pisa-Florence line.
One of ZSSK's small fleet of 971 double deck units, 010, pulls away from the stop at Ivanka pri Dunaji at the head of Os 4720 from Nové Zámky whilst 263 010(!) of the equally small number of Škoda built electric locomotives provides the power at the rear.

DVT 82133 ex Liverpool Street trundles in to Stratford station East London (UK)
The powerless DVT resembles a locomotive on purpose so when a 'push-pull' train is operating in 'push' mode it does not appear to be travelling backwards. The vehicles have no passenger accommodation due to rules in place at the time of construction that prohibited passengers in the leading vehicles of trains capable of more than 100 miles per hour.
