“Looking at beauty in the world, is the first step of purifying the mind.”

― Amit Ray, Meditation: Insights and Inspirations

With the dust that accumulates in our homes over the winter from our heating systems it can make you feel dry, sore and stuffy in the nose. And, when you have an allergy to dust it can be even worse. Today I decided to purify the air in this area. I got this today and I'm hoping it will help keep some of that dust down too! This has an Ultra-Hepa Filter and a Carbon Filter.

Of (almost) the three decades I've lived so far, last two decades were adventurous to say the least - in terms of the diverse personalities I have come across.

A blessed few have an enchanting characteristics - they can light up the mood wherever they present themselves - somewhat similar to what the first bloom of spring brings to a person's mind.

You - my friends - are treasures to the universe. Sincere well wishes to all of you - the lightbringers!

Concentration #4 (I had to make a new theme) People are often affected by their environment, adjusting to the harshness and evil that they see. However, some who are burden with external problems can still revert back to their brighter selves. I made the tiles a bit brighter to enhance their definition

A spruce up for the 38...

McGill’s have added route branding to some of their latest deliveries of Mercedes-Benz’s which can now be found on the 38. Here we see J3351 (BF67WKH) illustrating the rather nice understated branding emphasising the benefits on the buses as well as the five-minute frequency. Some interesting facts about McGill’s latest Citaros are that the ones delivered in 2014 were the first Euro 6 buses in Glasgow, that the air that goes into them in Glasgow City Centre is effectively purified as it comes out the exhaust cleaner than when it went in. The also have super-capacitors in them that capture energy under braking to power the electrics on the bus.

It is 352 days from the start date to the end date, but not including the end date.

Or 11 months, 18 days excluding the end date. October 21, 2023

Also washed the removable external filter, designed to be washed and the inside of the filter holder, quite dirty.

The top illuminated button went from white, to blue and this morning red, indicating filter change time. Home Depot and Canadian Tire had the same price, much better than Amazon

Japanese Garden Fountain

The stone water basin or fountain has had a time honored place in japanese gardens for centuries. Stone basin fountains or "chozubachi" originated in ancient shrines and temples for worshipers to wash their hands and rinse their mouths before entering the shrine as an act of purifying the mind and body. The fountain originated as "chozubachi's", which were usually 16" or taller in height. Tea-masters later redesigned the fountain bowls for japanese tea gardens to the height of 12" or shorter to create the "tsukubai". The tsukubai or crouching bowl was designed to humble guest and create the right state of mind before guests joined the tea ceremony. Many japanese gardens today have both the chozubachi and tsukubai and are fed with water from a bamboo spout called "kakei".

As each day comes to us refreshed and anew, so does my gratitude renew itself daily. The breaking of the sun over the horizon is my grateful heart dawning upon a blessed world.
