“Looking at beauty in the world, is the first step of purifying the mind.”
—Amit Ray, Meditation, Insights and Inspirations
Dorothy Falls is a hidden gem located in the Lake Kaniere Scenic Reserve surrounded by native bush.
I wanted to capture the falls as a serene paradise and the feeling of peace and tranquility I had while there. I used the fallen log to create a sense of depth in photograph as it leads your eye into the scene.
Prior to making their procession to the temple, the devotees purify themselves with yellow dye and the water of the nearby river. Afterwards they are dressed and their bodies prepared for the kavadi.
I love Spring, specifically the month of May (albeit now is still April) when the weather is more cordial toward one's expectation of warmer Spring days. This is from the same walk with my girlfriend and our dog from a week or so ago, and I love shooting against the Sun to essentially play with the light.
As I was taking this some grump walked past me muttering under his breath about how I shouldn't be looking directly at the Sun and blah blah blah, clearly didn't realise I was using the Lv Screen and not the viewfinder.
Light is a beautiful marvel of limitless potential for creativity and it's this very light that breathes life into photography and all photographic art forms, as much as the creator desires, though Mother Nature will always remain the true artist.
Hope everyone is doing well, much appreciation to all my followers, favers, commenter's and so on, and so as always, thank you! :)
Thanks to a friend it was possible to realize one of my macro dreams. I dedicate this shot to him (technically) with gratitude for being such a human.

Drink it 'til I feel alright
Dancing in the pale moonlight
Clean me 'til I'm pure inside
What's it like to burn in heaven?
Bleed a little more if you can take it
Drink until you feel your heart is vacant
Sleep if it will keep away the demons
Drink if you don't want to see the weekend

A Peaceful Weekend at My Summer House:
Sometimes all we need is nature, sports, and a peaceful environment! I dedicated this weekend to myself and relaxed at my summer house. This weekend was like therapy for me. I enjoyed canoeing on the water, then I jumped into the cool waters and experienced the healing power of sports 🏊♀️. All of this purified my soul and body. Give yourself breaks like this too, believe me, it's worth it!.

" Ma petite est comme l’eau, elle est comme l’eau vive
Elle court comme un ruisseau, que les enfants poursuivent
Courez, courez vite si vous le pouvez
Jamais, jamais vous ne la rattraperez "
(Béart)
“Follow with your eye the vast tremor that runs, from horizon to horizon, through city and forest.
Observe, throughout all life, the human effervescence that works like leaven in the world-the song of the birds and their plumage-the wild hum of the insects-the tireless blooming of the flowers- the unremitting work of the cells-the endless labours of the seeds germinating in the soil.
I am the single radiance by which this is aroused and within which it is vibrant.
Man, nature’s synthesis, does many things with the fire that burns in his heart. He gathers power, pursues glory, creates beauty, devotes himself to science. And often he does not realise that, under so many different forms, it is always the same passion that inspires him- purified, transformed but alive- the attraction of the Feminine.”
-Pierre Teilhard de Chardin
“The Eternal Feminine”

Old Keyaki tree (Japanese zelkova, Zelkova serrata) with sticks in the Yasaka shrine (弥栄神社) located by the Tsuwano river.
This is a re-edit of a previously uploaded photo with Lightroom.
Yasaka shrine was originally founded by the Yoshimi, the original ruler of Tsuwano, in 1428 by requesting the Gion shrine in Kyoto to impart its deity for the spiritual protection of Tsuwano Castle.
The deity enshrined in the Yasaka shrines found all over Japan is Gozu Tennou (午頭天皇 ox-headed heavenly king) that was a guardian of Buddha's Jetavana monastery in Shravasti, Uttar Pradesh State of India. Gion (祇園) is the Japanese pronunciation of the Chinese translation of Jetavana meaning "mango orchard." The Indian minor deity was syncretised with the Susano'o cult of Shintoism and other folk beliefs and promoted to a major deity status in Shintoism in charge of epidemic prevention.
The Meiji government did not like the syncretism as they wanted to purify Shintoism. They did not like the Gion shrine as the name is of an Indian origin. All the Gion shrines were forced to rename to Yasaka shrines including its headquarters in Kyoto. Gion, however, survives as place and festival names in Kyoto.
'It's like rain on your wedding day
...
Isn 't it ironic?
...
Well life has a funny way of sneaking up on you
When you think everything's okay and everything's going right
And life has a funny way of helping you out when
You think everything's gone wrong and everything blows up
In your face'
(Alanis Morissette, from her song 'Ironic')
I wouldn 't exactly call it funny but more ironic can be to it even... and so you 'll end up purified in more than one way

Barberton daisy and Gerbera jamesonii
Barberton daisy can purify air and remove formaldehyde and benzene. Barberton daisy are valued most in gardens for the striking colors of their large blooms. Often used in flower beds, cut flower gardens, and container plantings, they can make a striking addition to any kind of flower garden.
The gerbera daisy on the other hand symbolizes purity, innocence, and beauty. The most significant characteristic of this flower is its bright, radiant colors, which represent energy and rejuvenation to many. Its colors encourage youthfulness and joy that radiate into the daily lives of individuals.

We had a new roof put on our house recently, and it was very hot outside. The roof company provided waters to keep the workers from being dehydrated. I was amazed that all the men who worked on the roof outside wore long sleeved hoodies the whole time.
With heartfelt and genuine thanks for your kind visit. Have a wonderful and beautiful day, be well, keep your eyes open, appreciate the beauty surrounding you, enjoy creating and stay safe! ❤️❤️❤️

Purify my heart
Let me be as gold and precious silver
Purify my heart
Let me be as gold, pure gold
Refiner's fire
My heart's one desire
Is to be holy
Set apart for You, Lord
I choose to be holy
Set apart for You, my Master
Ready to do Your will
Purify my heart
Cleanse me from within
And make me holy
Purify my heart
Cleanse me from my sin
Deep within

Job 1
Prologue
1 In the land of Uz there lived a man whose name was Job. This man was blameless and upright; he feared God and shunned evil. 2 He had seven sons and three daughters, 3 and he owned seven thousand sheep, three thousand camels, five hundred yoke of oxen and five hundred donkeys, and had a large number of servants. He was the greatest man among all the people of the East.
4 His sons used to take turns holding feasts in their homes, and they would invite their three sisters to eat and drink with them. 5 When a period of feasting had run its course, Job would send and have them purified. Early in the morning he would sacrifice a burnt offering for each of them, thinking, "Perhaps my children have sinned and cursed God in their hearts." This was Job's regular custom.
Job's First Test
6 One day the angels came to present themselves before the LORD, and Satan also came with them. 7 The LORD said to Satan, "Where have you come from?"
Satan answered the LORD, "From roaming through the earth and going back and forth in it."
8 Then the LORD said to Satan, "Have you considered my servant Job? There is no one on earth like him; he is blameless and upright, a man who fears God and shuns evil."
9 "Does Job fear God for nothing?" Satan replied. 10 "Have you not put a hedge around him and his household and everything he has? You have blessed the work of his hands, so that his flocks and herds are spread throughout the land. 11 But stretch out your hand and strike everything he has, and he will surely curse you to your face."
12 The LORD said to Satan, "Very well, then, everything he has is in your hands, but on the man himself do not lay a finger."
Then Satan went out from the presence of the LORD.
13 One day when Job's sons and daughters were feasting and drinking wine at the oldest brother's house, 14 a messenger came to Job and said, "The oxen were plowing and the donkeys were grazing nearby, 15 and the Sabeans attacked and carried them off. They put the servants to the sword, and I am the only one who has escaped to tell you!"
16 While he was still speaking, another messenger came and said, "The fire of God fell from the sky and burned up the sheep and the servants, and I am the only one who has escaped to tell you!"
17 While he was still speaking, another messenger came and said, "The Chaldeans formed three raiding parties and swept down on your camels and carried them off. They put the servants to the sword, and I am the only one who has escaped to tell you!"
18 While he was still speaking, yet another messenger came and said, "Your sons and daughters were feasting and drinking wine at the oldest brother's house, 19 when suddenly a mighty wind swept in from the desert and struck the four corners of the house. It collapsed on them and they are dead, and I am the only one who has escaped to tell you!"
20 At this, Job got up and tore his robe and shaved his head. Then he fell to the ground in worship 21 and said:
"Naked I came from my mother's womb,
and naked I will depart.
The LORD gave and the LORD has taken away;
may the name of the LORD be praised."
22 In all this, Job did not sin by charging God with wrongdoing.
