Purchased by an unknown holding company from a Levantine Democracy, the Main Battle Tank-Modular Missile Platform is a dual-role vehicle meant for medium to long range engagements. Boasting sizeable arms, armor, optics, and AI assistance, this platform is a formidable opponent in all theaters.

Merseybus purchased four Leyland National 2's from London Buses, which had been used on Red Arrow routes in central London.
Allocated fleetnumbers 5290-3 on paper, they were never used by Merseybus and only moved within the confines of Edge Lane works.
This one was to become 5291 but it wasn't used, now were the fleetnumbers carried. By December 95 it had been sold on to Ensign and made the journey back south without carrying a single fare paying passenger since its last days in London!
Blue Triangle of Rainham used it for a spell before heading over to London Bus Company. It is believed to survive and awaits restoration, though it does need a hell of a lot of work doing to it.

Ex Stockholm Tramways Park Royal (H43/28D) Leyland Atlantean LPDR1/1. Early in 1966, Leyland won a most prestigious order, worth £2,500,000 against fierce world-wide competition. Stockholm Tramways decided to withdraw 400 older buses rather convert them to the Swedish change over from left-hand rule of the road to the standard Continental right-hand rule on 1st September 1967. Following Leyland supplying a prototype Park Royal bodied modified Leyland Panther PSUR1.1R demonstrator, Stockholm Tramways placed an handsome order for 200 Park Royal (B39D) bodied Panthers and 50 Park Royal (H43/28D) bodied Atlanteans. Which were delivered on time.
The Atlanteans were a special built chassis to a length of 36ft. 4 1/2in and powered by a Leyland 0.680 engine producing 165bhp and driving through a Voith fully-automatic torque convertor gearbox with push button controls. Other features include air suspension, power assisted steering, roof level exhaust discharge and a spring handbrake. The Park Royal body featured dual doorways and twin staircases, and were the largest buses built in Britain at the time, and the largest buses built by Park Royal, who faced problems in getting the completed buses out of their factory due to lack of space.

The last locomotives purchased by the L&N were SD50s, but they were all delivered in Seaboard gray. They did, however, retain some of the L&N subtleties such as nose mounted headlights and marker lights. For a kid like me in '83, they were a real shock. Seeing these big matched sets pulling exhaustingly long coal trains was the final end of the Louisville & Nashville railroad forever. They always seemed to come in sets of three and always followed by a mile of coal hoppers. I have built a Seaboard SD50 before, but it passed back into the brick long ago. I knew this time around I would have to do it right and build a 3 unit lashup of these 3500 hp brutes. I'll get back to you on that mile long string of hoppers.
I purchased this bag many years ago at the Hard Rock Hotel in Orlando and it's still in great condition!

*Inglewood – Fimmin Deacon, publican of Adelaide, purchased part section 5513, 6 km east of Modbury in June 1857 and erected an hotel thereon, calling it ‘Inglewood’.
Mr Deacon purchased the land from William Reeds of Houghton.
Rodney Cockburn relates that Mr Deacon: Offered the men on the job five gallons of beer if they could find a suitable name. That evening they had a talk in camp and one of them suggested Inglewood (after the Inglewood in Cumberland). The others approved and when the owner next arrived the men had the name painted in large letters on a board which was nailed to a scaffold pole opposite to the bar door.
The men got their beer and Inglewood got is name. [Ref: Manning’s Place Names of South Australia]

Yesterday I stopped off by Savers and found a bag full of vintage-ish clone shoes so I got that, and found on the Savers floor a 2015 Ariel sculpt head with no body in sight. I took it to the cashier and they just said I could have it so I might repaint her to look better lol.
I also found out Kmart had a bunch of new EAH dolls including Alistair. I was tempted by Bunny blanc but her head was so bluh so I got Alistair for his body.
Annoyingly Alistair has a one piece top so not only Mattel cheaped out on him he doesnt even get separates anymore. His pants are also capris so bluh.
The amount of stuff in the bag is definitely more than enough for me so I’m glad lol.
I purchased this head sculpt on Ebay while waiting for my BVS Superman figure to ship! It's expected to ship next month!
This head sculpt looks pretty good though there has been a lot of debate about the new Superman figure from Hot Toys and it's likeness to Henry Cavill! This sculpt looks pretty close to the Hot Toys version! I'll have to compare them when my figure arrives in July!
I switched out this head sculpt with my Hot Toys Man of Steel figure! Though very different from the MOS head sculpt, I do like it!

Successor to the low-height Bridgemaster, the AEC Renown was possibly a case of the right product at the wrong time. By the time that it was launched in 1962, there were better solutions to the perenial low-bridge problem. Demonstrator 7552 MX was finished in Bradford City Transport livery and initialled trialled by that operator, which did not follow-up with a purchase order. It subsequently spent time with a variety of operators, large and small. before finding a permanent home with Burwell & District (24-Feb-16).
This is a digitally-colour version of an official AEC photograph from the collection of Jim Neale, but I have dropped in a new back scene because of the format of the original print (24-Feb-14)

The first two releases in the 2014 Disney Fairytale Designer Collection are placed next to each other. They have been completely deboxed, and placed back in their original display stands. The covers have been removed, and the backing has been cut off the bases of the display stands.
Photos of my Limited Edition Pocahontas and John Smith 12'' Designer Doll Set. Second of five releases in the 2014 Disney Fairytale Designer Collection. I purchased them in store on the release day, Tuesday Sept. 30, 2014. They are #1352 of 6000, and cost $129.95. I think these dolls follow the artwork very well, and look very good together. I like the colors and textures of Pocahontas' outfit and accessories much better than the original Designer Pocahontas doll (released in October 2011). I also think her face is prettier and her expression gentler and more natural. John Smith also has a good expression, and doesn't look as bland as most of the other Designer Princes. The couple are presented side by side in the box, so are both very well shown. All of the photos of the dolls with the plastic cover removed are done with flash, as the daylight was very dim at that point.

Steamrangers 507 was purchased and delivered in March 1991 still in the SAR scheme of Red and Yellow and was repainted not long after. Sitting outside of the Mt Barker depot on 19-9-1996, 507 has just had its second repaint since under Steamranger ownership.
Sadly, my time with this thing is coming to an end abruptly. It just simply has far, far too many things wrong with it and has left me stranded a few times too many. I have now decided its fate and despite it not being what most people would want, this car is past its prime.
-Serious electrical issues, either ruined wiring or a faulty alternator.
-Suspension only rises at the front and sinks at the back as soon as the ignition is turned off.
-Various bits of broken trim, taped up steering cowl
-Many large dents
-Oil level now about as low as possible and it's oil cap (non original) has seemingly welded shut.
-Weeping diesel pump, meaning it stinks of diesel all the time
I just should never have bought it. As much as I hate to admit it, it's going for scrap.
I've since come across another, far nicer (and working) Xantia for a bargain price. I will pillage what I can off of this before it's hauled away.
Today I was feeling super bleh so I decided to check my K-Mart to see if they had the LA Girl Fashionista since she’s literally the only one I’ve been full scale excited for in years in terms of modern dolls. And yeah, it looks like Kmart unboxed a pack of the new wave, but there was two of every girl except the LA Girl and the other 2010 Skipper sculpt doll with the blue skirt so it seems she’ll be the hardest to find.
Also at Target there was a one day sale of buy one, get one free so I decided to get Resort and Director Barbie intending to combine their various articulated pieces since I’m essentially paying for one doll anyways lol.
Anyways this feels like the most amount of modern dolls I’ve bought at once in yonks so it seems like Mattel is getting on the right track.
YAY! more poseable bodies bratz:):):) cant wait til they come!:D:D:D p.s. sorry for the crummy pic>.<

My Snow White and the Hag Doll Set is fully deboxed. Here Snow White is standing alone, supported by a Kaiser doll stand.
Detailed photos of my Snow White and the Hag Doll Set, the first in store release of the 2015 Disney Fairytale Designer Collection. I got it today in my local Disney Store raffle. The set is #2595 of 6000.
Snow White's in box pose is stiff, with her face pointing up too much, and her curly hair messy, especially on the right. She has the 2012 Classic Princess style body, with hard plastic legs, external hinge knee joints, and ball jointed ankles. She has golden yellow flats, matching the color of her skirt. She has a full length velvet cape with satin lining.
The Hag (or Witch) has a unique body and limbs. Similar to the DFDC Beast doll, she has an awkward stance if free standing. In fact, my doll's right leg cannot be straightened completely and her fixed ankles are bent, so her natural standing pose is stooped, making her stand about 10 inches tall. In the box pose, her feet is raised by plastic forms, so if they are removed for deboxing, her feet dangle in the air if she is reboxed. She doesn't have ankle joints, so she cannot point her toes to reach the floor of the display stand.
They did a fabulous job making the Hag an accurate representation of the animated movie character. I also like Snow White's anxious expression, which is appropriate for being next to the evil Hag. I did the best I could to make Snow's hair neater, but it is still messier than I would like. Her curly hair is heavily stiffened with hair product, so it was not easy for me to rearrange her hair using my fingers.

Frozen Fever Elsa has been fully deboxed. To fully show off her outfit, the orange string has been removed from her hands, and her hair untacked from her cape. She has been taken off her display stand, and is lying down on the floor.
Detailed photos of my Frozen Fever Elsa Limited Edition 17'' doll. I got her in store on release day, Tuesday November 3, 2015. She is #1559 of 5000. She is shown boxed, during deboxing and fully deboxed. I also show her with comparable dolls.
Her only accessory is a red string that was used to connect all the birthday presents for Anna. I decided to remove the string for the final photos of her fully deboxed. Her long braid was tacked to her outfit in two places with nylon thread. I cut the lower thread so her cape could be fully opened, but I decided to leave the upper one alone, so the braid would stay in place nicely draped over her shoulder. I show her ice heels from various angles. It has the same mold as the ice heels of the other two SQ LE 17'' Elsa dolls (LE 2500 and LE 100), but is transparent light blue green, with fine embedded glitter and a shiny iridescent surface. It was difficult to show the true beauty of the shoes in photographs.

Purchased from Sears stores, probably in Metarie LA, USA in 1973/74. And therein lies a tale…
(Note to self: a tricky subject to light. Ceiling LED’s & bounce flash. Adjust brightness & contrast. The paint stain on the box is annoying).
The area now known as "Hot Springs National Park" first became United States territory in 1803 as part of the Louisiana Purchase. The Dunbar-Hunter Expedition came here in 1804, sent by President Thomas Jefferson to explore the southern reaches of the recent purchase. Soon a bustling town grew up around the hot springs to provide services for health seekers. The resultant bathing industry led to Hot Springs becoming known as the "American Spa." But, even before becoming a U.S. territory, Hot Springs National Park had a long and colorful history, beginning long before its designation as Hot Springs Reservation in 1832. American Indians came here for thousands of years to quarry novaculite for their tools and weapons. Finally, on April 20, 1832, President Andrew Jackson signed legislation to set aside "...four sections of land including said (hot) springs, reserved for the future disposal of the United States (which) shall not be entered, located, or appropriated, for any other purpose whatsoever." This makes Hot Springs National Park the oldest national park among current National Park units, predating Yellowstone National Park by forty years.
Later, on August 25, 1916, Congress established the National Park Service (NPS), and Hot Springs Reservation came under its administration. Stephen T. Mather, head of the new organiza-tion, took a serious interest in the development of the site. His enthusiasm for Hot Springs apparently led to its designation as the eighteenth national park on March 4, 1921. At the same time, the townspeople decided to call their city Hot Springs National Park as well. The designation of the reservation as a national park ushered in the final phase of construction culminating in the Bathhouse Row of today. In 1922 the old Government Free Bathhouse was demolished, and a new state-of-the-art bathhouse opened on Reserve and Spring Streets. In 1933 a central thermal water collection and distribution system was completed, and grading began on the Grand Promenade behind Bathhouse Row. In 1936 the new administration building on the corner of Reserve and Central opened, replacing the park headquarters earlier converted from the reservation’s pump house. The Imperial Bathhouse next to the administration building was razed in 1937 to make way for the Grand Promenade entrance on Reserve, although it was to be 1958 before this ambitious project was completely finished. In the final phase of construction, the Fountain Street superintendent’s residence was razed, and the promenade was extended to Fountain Street.
Bathhouse Row and its environs were placed on the National Register of Historic Places (NRHP) on November 13, 1974. About this same time, the desire to revitalize Bathhouse Row also led citizens to campaign for adaptive uses of the vacant buildings. The strongest concern was to save the most elegant bathhouse, the Fordyce, which was consequently adapted for use as the visitors center for the National Park and a museum. Today, all the bathhouses have been renovated and adapted for modern use.
