Our older two kids often play together--basketball, soccer--"big kid" games--leaving Meadow and the pups to play together. It is equal parts sweet and sad.

Immediately after the first portrait session of 2011 I asked my wife to bring the dogs down to the studio/daycare. Elle, our new pup, hadn't been there yet so it served 2 purposes, an introduction to the daycare that she will be attending in about 5 days and a fun portrait session.
It was pretty hard to get both dogs looking at me at the same time. Hannah can't really see me and Elle hasn't figured out verbal cues yet.
Elle would actually bolt off the white backdrop when ever I would make my patented "squeaky voice" to get the dogs attention. It was pretty funny.

We came across this young coyote in the middle of the road. When the lights of the vehicle hit him/her, he/she didn't even move. It seemed he/she was focused on something on the ground. The little guy/gal then came towards the vehicle and circled around to the other side. After reviewing my photos, it looks like it may have something wrong with it's eyes. I did some research and it looks like it may have corneal edema, but I can't be sure.
There is a second photo of this little pup in my photostream.
Is it just me, or is anyone else having problems posting a photo into their comments?

This pup kept coming up right behind my boat and slapping where I couldn't see it.... then checking to see my reaction.
