This is Alex and a pup they were fostering for an animal shelter. Pups are placed with a family until they are old enough to be adopted. This is one of three. Alex has two grown dogs, Peggy and Cosmo.

Her mother was a siberian husky and her and the brown pup's father was australian shepherd and the black pup had a rottweiler for a father.

Her mother Stevie got knocked up by two dogs. very interesting eh?

F40 #112 brings a rush hour train out of Chicago on the Milwaukee/CUS District in August of 2009. Back in the Mid-70's RAILFAN & RAILROAD Magazine did an article on "Chicago's New Look" for the RTA and their new locomotives, and lovingly called this new passenger power at the time "Pups" due to their fresh new look, and snubbed nose. While this isn't the baby blue and salmon scheme the unit was delivered in, they still look like they belong in a kennel. Agreed?!?

Ally was wanting ym attention and cuddles and the other pup came up for a fight. they exchanged some snaps and chews and tiny little cute growls before the white pup got bored and Ally got her cuddles and settle down to sleep under my chin :)

Windeyer Border Collies

This adorable German Shepherd pup was pacing up and down a residential street in a small community where I drove to take pics yesterday. I was able to get her to come to me by luring with can cat food [ that's all I had]. Unfortunately, I had Jasmine with me and this sweet pooch was cautious so couldn't get ahold of her collar to check for a tag.

After about 45 mins. I decided to give up and head home. I did call the local humane society in hopes that they will pursue the matter. I hate to see lost dogs and not be able to help. If Jasmine wasn't with me, I would have spent the afternoon coaxing her, and taken her home w/me so that she wouldn't be hit by a car or disappear.

UPDATE

I just called the police department and talked to an officer who thinks he knows who this dog belongs to. Maybe his neighbor....so, I guess she isn't a lost dog after all. But he isn't 100% certain...just guessing,
