Egyptians Protest outside the Egyptian Embassy in London

During my first Air Cadet campt at RAF wittering we visited the Fleet Air Arm museum. Around seven years later I used the same film to take photos at the Crude Awakening, an anarchist, environmentalist protest against oil companies.

 

I was never the most Chauvinistic cadet - but the photos are a testament to how much my opinons have changed.

We had a very small protest...but i shot film . Nikon F2 with the Fuji Superia 400ASA film. I did basically little to no processing on these and got them straight from the scan. Film with no manipulation still shows up digital..amazing!

In our search for a cafe, we happened upon something going on at the end of the street. We watched them briefly and decided to turn around and backtrack since we didn't really know the nature of the procession that was about to take place.

 

Can anyone tell what this was all about? Unfortunately I didn't get a photo of the banner in full.
