A young couple offer love and comfort to each other against a backdrop of protesters' sensible footwear. I like this photo, I feel that I have caught a moment of tenderness and also, it is as though the other protestors have formed a protective shield around them. I see this as an image of hope.

The American protest sign says it all as US democracy is under threat and constitutional rights are being trampled on.
Pot Day protest mid seventies. Going through a miserable hot and humid stretch of weather I dug this shot out of archives and breathed some new life into this shot with my denoise software.
Last night just before the Strawberry Moonrise, I caught these protesters on the steps of the WW1 Memorial doing a peaceful presentation.
I could relate to this woman obviously.

Oxford Rejects Homophobes!
Exeter College hosted the group Christian Concern to hold a conference. The students believe that this group is anti lgbtq rights,anti Islam,and anti choice. They also believe that these values have no place in Oxford and should not be implicitly supported by allowing the group to hold a conference here. The student s were encouraging people to join the protest and to also make it clear that Oxford, and the student body is absolutely opposed,

Truckers protest vaccine mandates in downtown Ottawa! It's disrupted traffic, residents & businesses! Most of them are to arrive in Toronto as of today!
On our last visit to Hong Kong, there was street fighting just near our Hotel. this van was in the wrong street, at the wrong moment and paid the penalty.

Rally at Office of City Council Member Erik Dilan after all night vigil on the street
Brooklyn, N.Y.- Homeless people and members of Occupy Wall Street will gather at 8:30am to declare victory after "sleeping out" on the streets of Brooklyn, in a protest aimed at City Council Member Erik Martin Dilan. For over two years he's been sitting on a bill that could lead to more housing, and activists spent the entire night on the street letting his constituents know.
“This was a wake-up call for Erik Dilan and his constituents,” stated Picture the Homeless member Kalaif Swann. “Now they know how he's failing them. All of these vacant buildings found in our neighborhoods can be used to provide real affordable housing and shut down the shelter system.”
30+ activists, all of whom slept outside, will be present at the 8:30 press conference. Braving chilly weather, the activists led neighbors in a series of workshops and a walking tour of vacant properties in his district.
"We opened a lot of eyes with this," said Picture the Homeless member Alethea Smalls. “The Chair of the Housing and Building committee should have professional experience dealing with housing. I invite Councilman Dilan to, for a week, live as though he were homeless with little resources. Perhaps then he will see the struggle that so many New Yorkers face and calendar Intro 48.”
