A lofty 'double-ten' (10th October) protest upon the heights of Lion Rock, Hong Kong. Went back a few months later and it had been blacked out, the 'high' hand of authority perhaps.

These are from 5/30/20, the day before Dallas enacted a 7:00pm curfew for the foreseeable future. Protestors are rallying for people of color being killed needlessly by law enforcement, the most recent (and primary catalyst for these now-global protests) victim was a 46 year-old black man killed while in police custody after being detained in the US city of Minneapolis.
Unfortunately, there are some who have seen these protests as an opportunity to loot local businesses, vandalize, and cause general chaos. From what I can tell, the protests have a pattern of starting out as peaceful and lawful. It is afterwards that some choose to stick around or new participants are joining the fray and sowing discord from within. Especially after nightfall.

Someone told us that this was a bunch of high school students protesting their standardized tests being made more difficult. Lots of them were also waving flags that said "Association of Young Socialists." They looked like they were having a pretty good time, though. They probably got out of school for it.

This week long 24-hour protest has been taking place in a plaza in the old section of Bilbao. Each day they put up signs asking for people to bring supplies -- food, blankets, etc. Today, they're asking for WiFi routers.
An in-person protest organized over the Internet now asks for technical telecommunications support to maintain Internet access at the site of the protest.

faillissement van ADO Den Haag. Het Bestuur heeft de afgelopen weken de
supporters in onzekerheid gelaten over de toekomst en financiële status
van de voetbalclub. Daarom vond er zaterdag 16 februari een
demonstratie plaats. op het plein bij het stadhuis de demonstratie
verliep ordelijk na afloop trokken een aantal supporters de binnenstad
in nauwlettend in de gaten gehouden door een grote groep van de politie
zowel in uniform als in burger luid zingend trokken ze door het
centrum kreten'' als geen geld dan maar geweld" -en het lied oh oh Den
Haag klonken loeihard toen de groep door de passage liep verder bleef
