This is another angle of the protector of our homes. I have learned that this is St. Francis, patron saints of animals. Since several of us in the cove have pets and we get animals visiting us often, I think that he is doing a wonderful job!

~So tell me is there somewhere else that you wanna go?
'Cause you've been running round in circles, stuck in slow-mo,
I've got that feeling that you really wanna hit the door,
If you've lost the fight,
Then let's win the war.
When you're tired of hiding,
And you've gotta run, hop right in,
Sit shotgun, I'm driving,
I'll be your protector.
Who's gonna be there when
Everything is tumbling down?
Who's gonna be there when
you fall to keep you off of the ground?
I'll be your shelter,
They'll never get ya,
So stay with me and
I'll be your protector~

When this guy first asked me to join him, I was angry and lost, and close to quitting SL for good. He barely knew me as we hadn't spoken in years, but decided to take a chance on me anyway. It was the best gamble I ever made. It led me to security, stability and a complete family, things I'd never known in over 3 years on SL. I've met so many wonderful people through him, people who have become so important to me. And all my past demons stopped chasing me the moment my brother took me in.
He has been a guide, a teacher, a protector and a cherished friend. Thank you, Lucifer, for giving me a family and a home, for your love, support and care over the years, for sticking by me and believing in me, and for being the best big brother on the grid <3
The Buddhist Monk And The Lion Dogs 僧仏教徒と狛犬
By Daniel Arrhakis / 大仁得 赤竜 / 丹尼尔·红龙 (2020)

The Japan's mythical Lion Dogs are called Komainu 狛犬.
If you’ve ever been to a shrine in Japan, odds are you’ve seen a pair of dog-like lions flanking the entrance.
Lions appeared in Indian temple art and, as early as the third century, showed up in Chinese Buddhist art.
In those times, the lion was a symbolic protector of the dharma (the teachings of Buddha) but over time, they also became protectors of imperial gates.
By the Nara period (710-794), lion guardians had come to Japan as well but the original source of their introduction is still discussed today if was China or Korea. Early on, they were usually made of wood and only used indoors.
In the ninth century, a change occurred, and the pair came to consist of one open-mouthed lion (shishi 獅子) and one close-mouthed, horn-bearing, dog-like komainu. The name komainu itself means “Korean dog.” Given the name and its horn, it would seem that the komainu, at least, came from the Korean haechi.
By the fourteenth century the horn disappeared, and both animals of the pair came to be known as komainu. At the same time, people started making them in stone and using them outdoors.

The Church of St. Blaise is a Baroque church in Dubrovnik and one of its major sights. Saint Blaise, identified by medieval Slavs with the pagan god Veles, is the patron saint of the city of Dubrovnik and formerly the protector of the independent Republic of Ragusa.
I saw her several times in the park-she was talking to her self-I was not scared but I got some strange feeling. One day my wife and I walked by and I wanted to talk to her and give her some money. I did not have the balls so my wife walked over. My wife told me that she is praying and protecting the children in the park and that she did not need any money. (there is a huge playground in this park only few meters away)
