While i was traveling around Kefalonia, Greece i went to Fiskardo. It was a hot day and as i was walking around i saw this man holding his grandchild on his shoulders in the shade.

Went to Poleys Place for New years eve with Family and friends. Its such a lovely place just a short drive from Gloucester NSW and just out of barrington . Poleys place is great for the little kids and big kids , has an amazing river running through the property which is very rewarding on a stinking hot summers day.
We hit the jackpot with the sunset , was beautiful to watch. I laid down in the paddock to include the cows in my shot. Not quiet sure what i was rolling around on lol ... but was well worth it.

Used to emboss a limit on a check so that the bank new not to cash a tampered check. Now we use "Saftery Checks" but I don't know why modern checks are safer...

A moss-covered, ivy-climbed-upon, holly-bush-protected, walnut tree on my way to school. Whenever I pass it, to or from school, night or day, rain or shine, I always have to stop and peer up through it's branches. It's like my sentinel, and it marks the halfway point when I'm nearly home or to school.

This is pg. 1 of a multi-page layout. I used a page protector as the pocket to hold my ephemera and backed the ephemera with patterned paper.
Journaling on pg.2: Mom and Dad named me, “Lisa Noell,” with the intention of calling me, Noell. With one exception I have no memories of being called Lisa, and so I have don’t associate myself with that name...So it surprised me when I took a good look at my baby stuff. My baby announcement must have included both names together because the congratulations letters say, “Lisa Noell.” Plus, went beyond that. I have birthday cards that call me Lisa...I think Mom told me that Dad’s parents called me Lisa for a long time, as you see on the outside of the birthday card from Grandpa Buck. But even Mom’s sister-in-law, Aunt Leanna, called me Lisa in the one-year-old birthday card she sent me. ..This is all so strange to me because the only person I ever remember calling me Lisa (and only periodically out of affection) was Dad. Only when it’s his voice saying the name do I feel like it belongs to me. Whenever anyone else calls me Lisa I either don’t realize they mean me, or I feel like it’s a fake name.

A water protector's well worn boots are visible early on October 27, 2016. The public witnessed a new level of escalation on October 27, 2016 in the Native struggle at Standing Rock, as police swept through an encampment in the direct path of the Dakota Access pipeline (DAPL). The resulting standoff with the National Guard, and police officers from various states, led to more than 100 arrests. Advancing authorities attacked Water Protectors with flash grenades, bean bag launchers, pepper spray and Long Range Acoustic Devices (LRADs). It is crucial that people recognize that Standing Rock is part of an ongoing struggle against colonial violence. The Dakota Access pipeline (#NoDAPL) is a front of struggle in a long-erased war against Native peoples -- a war that has been active since first contact, and waged without interruption. At evening, paddy field in Ubud, Bali is so lively with lots of people, birds, and flags as if there were festival. I stopped mountain very often to take shots, parked it and walk through the small dike of paddy field. It took sometimes for me to understand why the boy stood still there.. He played something in his hands and for a while he rewinded the little wheel hanging on the pole that made some noise, the flags and the human-like model were all tools to chase away the birds from taking the rice grains.
Later I knew from the local man that.. rice production is not sufficient for consumption though Bali is so green, it still needs to import rice, so its very essential for farmers to work almost whole day to chase away the birds..
