Ethan has always "loved the ladies". Since he was little, he's been kind to them and found them to be beautiful. When he was in playschool, he was always defending the girls from the big, bad mean boys.

The Porta all'Arco seen from Via Porta all'Arco in Volterra. One of the walking routes up to the walled town from our hotel. This route was quite steep but there was another more shallower route in to the town as well.
The Porta dell'Arco (or the Arco) of Volterra , dating back to about the period between the fourth and third centuries BC , is part of the city ​​wall belt , originally built by the Etruscans and later modified in the Middle Ages when the city a Free municipality .
This is the main access to the city from the south side, then opposite to the other Etruscan gate of Volterra, Porta Diana , to the north.

Another hypothesis is that they are connected to the oriental custom of displaying the severed heads of the enemy commanders on the city walls, as a tacit warning against any hostile presence. Both the arch and the protomes are to be referred to subsequent alterations, probably to be placed in the III sec. to. C.
The door has two arches: one external, described above with the three protomes, originally defended by a gate that allowed a rapid defensive closure, and an internal one, barred by two doors. This is why we can define the room plan.
