There used to be a road out there. Now there's a strait. Maybe we should call it George!

We still don't have a greenhouse to protect our plants on the occasional nights where they need protection from the cold. So, I pulled the most sensitive plants together, covered them with a sheet, and tossed in a set of C9 Christmas lights to try to keep the temperature at a tolerable level.

Probably won't know till Spring whether it works or not, but it kinda looks pretty in the snow, doesn't it? I've tried dragging them into the garage before, and that had limited success. It got almost as cold there as it was outdoors, and they got less light and less water, and half of the plants died anyway.

A green house would be marginally better, but it would still require a heater and constant attention. Financially, it would probably be better to just replace whatever dies every Spring, and figure out what does and doesn't do well in our area.

The frustrating thing is, we have just a few nights that are cold enough to kill. Just enough to wipe out the tropical plants that give us the best flowers and foliage, and then it warms like "just kidding!"..

In a park... natural protection for those little walkers... scary protection ?

Door locks have become integral to our lives. These things are designed to protect us and keep us protected from potential dangers such as thieves and intruders. They enable us to live peacefully since locks are specifically made to give us security, but also protection. By using door locks, we do not need to be concerned about thieves breaking into our house or office at a naughty moment. Because most door locks are very durable and can withstand medium to severe impact, they allow us to prevent bad guys from breaking into our house. Some locks have modern technology that makes it more difficult for burglars to gain access to our homes. If you are unsure about your home or business security it is best to put in top-quality locks as quickly as is possible. doorlockfinder.com
