Este caminho pedonal integra a rede de percursos interpretativos que visa compatibilizar a visitação pública com a conservação desta zona húmida de importância internacional, classificada como Sítio Ramsar. A densidade florestal atua como corredor ecológico, vital para a avifauna e anfíbios, enquanto as lagoas regulam cheias e promovem a infiltração. A estrutura de madeira visível ao fundo faz parte dos passadiços e observatórios que minimizam o impacto humano nos ecossistemas sensíveis. Este mosaico de habitats, moldado pela dinâmica do rio Lima, estabiliza as margens, filtra sedimentos e conecta manchas de água e campos, consolidando o papel da área na conservação da biodiversidade no Minho e oferecendo um refúgio para a observação da natureza.
Nestled within the Protected Landscape of Bertiandos and São Pedro de Arcos Lagoons, in Ponte de Lima, a dirt trail meanders through dense riparian vegetation, predominantly alders and willows, forming a natural canopy. This pedestrian path is part of the interpretive trail network designed to reconcile public visitation with the conservation of this internationally important wetland, classified as a Ramsar Site. The dense forest acts as an ecological corridor, vital for avifauna and amphibians, while the lagoons regulate floods and promote infiltration. The wooden structure visible in the background is part of the walkways and observatories that minimize human impact on sensitive ecosystems. This mosaic of habitats, shaped by the dynamics of the Lima River, stabilizes the banks, filters sediments, and connects water patches and fields, consolidating the area's role in biodiversity conservation in the Minho region and offering a haven for nature observation.

"As Fragas do Eume" es un parque natural situado en Galicia, concretamente en la provincia de la Coruña, con especies autóctonas tanto en vegetación como en anfibios.
Declarado Emplazamiento de Interes por la Comunidad Europea.

The Fragas do Eume are a natural park situated in north-west Spain. Fraga is a Galician word for "natural woodland" (old-growth forest) and the park is an example of a temperate rainforest in which oak (Quercus robur and Quercus pyrenaica) is the climax vegetation. The protected area extends along the valley of the river Eume within the Ferrolterra municipalities of Pontedeume, Cabanas, A Capela, Monfero, Pontedeume, and As Pontes de García Rodríguez. Some 500 people reside within the park. The monastery of Saint John of Caaveiro also lies within the park.
The area was declared a natural park in 1997. It is one of six natural parks in Galicia. The European Union has recognised the park as a Site of Community Importance. There are a number of species of ferns. Invertebrate species include the Kerry slug and it is an important site for amphibians.

Das Europa-Reservat Kühkopf-Knoblochsaue im Kreis Groß-Gerau ist das größte Naturschutzgebiet in Hessen.
Teile des 2.440 Hektar großen Gebiets wurden bei der Rheinregulierung 1828/1829 vom Hauptstrom getrennt.
Die besondere ökologische Bedeutung wurde bereits vor über 50 Jahren erkannt und das Gebiet am 20. März 1952 unter Naturschutz gestellt. Mittlerweile trägt es das UNESCO-Prädikat „Europareservat“ und ist durch die Fauna-Flora-Habitat-Richtlinie der Europäischen Union zusätzlich geschützt.
Die ausgedehnten Sumpfgebiete in der Auenlandschaft mit Gras-, Schilf- und Hartholzgewächsen bieten einen Rast- und Brutplatz für zahlreiche Vogelarten. Ein Dammbruch von 1983 wurde nicht behoben, die Landwirtschaft wurde aufgegeben und die Flächen sind regelmäßigen Überflutungen des Rheins ausgesetzt.

Este ambiente é vital para a filtragem natural da água e serve de refúgio para diversas espécies de avifauna e anfíbios. Além de facilitar a observação e educação ambiental, os passadiços promovem a conservação da biodiversidade, equilibrando acesso, lazer e proteção do território.
