I joined an eco-tourism daytrip from Guyana's capital Georgetown to the Arrowpoint Nature Resort. We drove out of town to marina on the Demerarr river, where we boarded a speedboat and crossed the river, then, taking about 45 minutes, navigated the Kamuni River into the Santa Aratack Amerindian Reserve, stopping at Santa Mission Amerindian community and the reaching Arrowpoint, where we had the options of walking in the rainforest, kayaking, swimming among activities.

The Elbe Sandstone Mountains, known also as Elbe sandstone highlands. The images show the North Bohemian Region of the Czech Republic. I am on the James Bond Islands tour out of Phuket, Thailand, and we are not on the third stop of the tour at Khao Phing Kan or James Bond island, which was the shooting location for the 1974 Bond film The Man with the Golden Gun. This island cluster is part of the Ao Phang Nga National Park. Here is a sign on the James Bond Island about the Ao Phang Nga National Park. This sign is fairly self explanatory if you view it in full screen or expanded mode, but it is far too detailed for a signboard, and the writing is very small, so while I will save you the commentary, you can read up the information of the sign if you are so inclined. Brief notes about the Ao Phang Nga National Park appeared earlier in this album. (see previous pictures). (Phuket, Thailand, Oct/ Nov. 2019)
A cow, brought here for food among the tall grass in the Okhla Bird Sanctuary. The grass is so tall that it towers over the size of the cow. A lot of the grass is dried and yellow rather than green. The river Yamuna is very close by, lapping on the edges of the sanctuary.

The Tahquamenon Falls are two different waterfalls on the Tahquamenon River. Both sets are located near Lake Superior in the eastern Upper Peninsula of Michigan. The water is notably brown in color from the tannins leached from the cedar swamps which the river drains. The upper falls are more than 200 feet (60 m) across and with a drop of approximately 48 feet .
Children at the Community Baboon Sanctuary viewed a presentation highlighting Belize’s protected Areas and the risks of oil exploration and drilling. Children then took action by signing a petition to ban oil exploration and drilling in off shore and in Belize’s protected areas.
