This is from a shoot we did with Pistolita. We are loving living in Oregon and shooting with all this nature is amazing. I've been wanting to use my Land Camera as a prop too so this was perfect.

I went downtown today and walked around near the capitol where Steven Spielberg is filming his movie about Lincoln. This truck stopped me in my tracks when I saw those super creepy and oh so fascinating bodies inside. Oh the life of the movie prop people, how fun it must be...
After two weeks and wasting nearly $200 worth of shitty silicone, I've finally gotten a good mold for the glass dagger. Now to fuse the two halves like the one in the center and make the second mold half!
It took 36 hours to fly from Travis AFB in California to Tachikawa AFB outside Tokyo in August 1961. The plane took us from California to Hickam AFT in Hawaii, then to Wake Island. This plane was a military, not commercial, prop airplane. The windows had bars, and all the seats faced the back of the aircraft, which was supposed to be safer. The third leg was from Wake Island to Tachikawa.
Tokyo in summer is like New Orleans: hot and extremely humid. As soon as the plane landed, steam rolled into the plane. It was late evening and we were put on a bus to a housing complex called Green Park. It was a large, self-contained place with grocery store, BX, beauty parlors and more. As we learned, the building had once been a factory. It had multiple wings - except for the absent one that had been bombed in WWII - and was at least four stories high. We lived there several weeks until our quarters were ready.

Blood Wine anyone! I have unfinished 2 rooms, 5 props! Sound alittle like chaos, but for me it isnt! When I run out of material, I look at something else to start! The bottom is the begining of a BOP Captains chair, thats going to be fun to build!
