This car is a prop on the property of Klug's Photo World www.klugsphotoworld.com/ Last evening was our photo clubs annual Model Shoot headed up by Jeff Klug at his Studio. Each year we get five or so new models just starting out and as a club we shoot them in various locations (setups) outside and inside the studio. Each club photographer that partakes in the event provides ten of our best shots to each model for their portfolio. Jeff is also head of the Menomonee Falls Camera Club www.falls-photo.org. I hope to post some of my photos soon.
I went to Hobby Lobby today and bought a couple of little things for the nightstand in Kess's apartment. The little jug of roses I found in the miniature/dollhouse section. The little bottle I found in the scrapbooking section. I filled it with beach sand and added the sea shells from my own collection.
Propped Shut rustic and weathered od building with a problem keeping the door closed, shot in North Carolina.
I've made several props over the course of the week. Sadly, the pieces of the glasses weren't aligned so it looks pretty bad. I have to make another one :(

In this world of Precision Scheduled Railroading, the current class one's miss opportunities to advertise themselves in a positive light instead of trying to do damage control (such that Norfolk Southern has been doing ever since the East Palestine derailment, Union Pacific with constant service problems......the list can go on and on). But I suppose in this day of watching every dollar for the benefit of shareholder value small things like that get overlooked. Case in point. Here is CSXT train I003 crossing Doodletown Bight from Iona Island to Bear Mountain behind a pair of matching Dark Future GE's leading a solid block of Amazon containers. Predacessor New York Central and even Penn Central did photo shoots and television commercials of the Pacemaker, Flexi-vans and multi-level auto rack trains in the Hudson valley. It's a natural photo prop for a positive spin of how commerce moves across the country, and the world. You never realize how big a customer is until you see just about an entire train loaded with their equipment. Makes you wonder how many people realize when they "point and click" that part of the journey their package made was on rail?
Lies Baas 2011....I have this friend, a real train, plane, automobile-fan....and he has this thing for Dakota's. He has been a Dakota fan his whole life...So...sunday we went just for a quick view to Rotterdam Airport, to see one fly off.....not knowing on arrival that within 6 minutes we would be on that same flight too. It was a great flight!!!!
Sadly I only had my iPhone with me....but the view from such a roaring beast is just one of the best machinary sounds ever!!!!

I worked with the art department on a recent music video for the Sony Latin artist Yuridia. This self portrait is on one of the tables in the video. My neck's going to be like, soooo famous in Mexico.

I photoshopped off all my tattoos, which for some reason was way harder than I had anticipated. It was also 3:30am, and I had to be on set in five hours.
The GOthic Mansion is on its way to being re-assembled again for the holidays. Here the staircase is completed to the 2nd floor and the props are being put in place.

Yes, the Flaneur With A Camera must admit, he stopped and made another lonely chair photograph. He can't help himself. At least it's a three-legged chair.

52 of YOU 7/52 Okay, now the dyptych makes sense to me when telling a story - a little late, but combined with a prop.
Otra tetera, de almacén chino igual. En mi país no existe Ikea (lágrima viva) ni tienda de todo por un dólar, lo mejor que puedes hallar en precios es en los almacenes chinos, o en una tienda tipo supermercado que se llama Coral.
