Proportion
A proportion image is how the elements of a picture relate to one another. When an element in a picture is either more dominate because it is larger or smaller ones being equal (A Graphic design Primer, Part 2: The Principles of Design). In the picture I chose the top half is the dominant element because the readers are drawn to the picture first and the bottom half equals out the image with the word font. The picture contains Franklin in a chair experiencing technology while the second half has two columns of text that balance out the image.
While capturing the night sky I was able to capture this incredible light that was radiating up while showing a contrast of colors. I used a aperture of f16 with 1/800 second to capture the light.
1.This photograph represents proportion. It is reflected in the composition because the chocolate bar is much larger than it normally is.
2.I think the most visually striking part of this picture is the partially bitten chocolate bar.
1. This image investigates proportion. The proportion being shown is the statue of the turtle's head in proportion to the ducks and water. It appears as if the turtle is drinking the water or kissing a duck.
2. The most successful part of the photo is the framing done so that I could capture the turtle in relation to the ducks and water.
1. This image represents proportion because of the two people against the desert mountains
2. The mountains are the most visually striking piece in this photo
1. This image demonstrates Proportion because it compares two elements to one another. This photo displays this principle with the seemingly large and multicoloured soccer ball (actual smaller than the size of a golf ball) relating to the small foot in the background which seems like it is about to touch the main subject.
2. I think that the aspect the most successful is the use of the principle or design: Emphasis, with the tiny soccer ball. I think this because it adds more to the photograph, yet keeping it focused on the principle of design: Proportion.
An example as to the sheer size of "Sue" (the shadow) to show how she could quit simply DEVOUR another dinosaur with very little effort.

This picture is of the hand of a 2 month old baby and my father (who's age I shouldn't mention) this shows proportion because it clearly shows the difference of size a hand grows in a life time
the most striking aspect of this photo is all the light pale colours in the background symbolizing a baby girl's blanket
1. This photo shows the element proportion because of the different sizes on people on the board walk.
2. The objects i find visually striking are the people and the sky reflecting int he blue water.
