It's just a photo with a little color.

1: This image demonstrates Proportion. It reflects to composition because of the white background.

2: The bright yellow on the white platform as well as the way the bananas are positioned makes the image look eye catching.

AP Breadth: Proportion/Scale

This image depicts the principle of design, Proportion. In this image the height of the clock is compared to the Christmas tree and the tall building in the back, but because the clock looks bigger it represents the principle, Proportion. This image is very appealing as the natural lighting really incorporates the three objects beautifully making the audience want to look at the image more.

Artwork by Ai Weiwei, and shown at the Lisson Gallery (13 May - 16 July 2011).

Ai Weiwei is an internationally regarded artist.

Born in 1957 to a Communist poet, Weiwei works in film, sculpture, photography as well as making social and cultural criticism.

"He serves as an example for legitimate social criticism and free expression both in China and internationally" (Lisson Gallery biog)

3 April 2011, Weiwei was arrested by Chinese authorities, ostensibly on tax-fraud.

Proportion is shown very well in this shot. The size difference between the subject and the photo frame is sufficient. The background also is a secondary color, green.

1) This photograph demonstrates Proportion by the two train carts and the man in the middle. 2) I think the most visually striking part of this photo is that handsome men in the middle.

1. This image investigates proportion by showing the size difference of a peace sign sculpture compared to a human.

2. The most visually striking part of this image is the size difference.

Timor-Leste's high proportion of youth in both urban and rural communities represents an opportunity to harness vast "human capital" for nation building. Ensuring educational, training and economic opportunities for young people, shared equitably to promote social inclusion and unity, is a key to peace and stability as well as long term growth.
