The photo prompt from BPS Picture Your Holidays was catch the little things - which I may do in Santa Fe later. But the challenge from Lulabelle was Christmas past so that's what I used. I don't have a special reading list as I read almost everything I see - which can be a problem in France when you don't speak/read French!
This is the edited version of the outdoor lighting prompt. It was edited in Adobe Photoshop using different variants.
I started by finding the grey, white, and black points, then played around with exposure, curves, and color balance to make it more vibrant in color and bring out the contrast of the lighting.

I'm not required to give a central theme to the entries, but I chose the theme "Divinations" and am using a pair of dice to generate prompts. My prompt for August 22 is to write divination-themed micro-fiction that uses fire. You can read the piece here.

I have actually thought about what my alter ego would be like for quite some time! I LOVE the name Ellie (so that would be her name), she would be vegan, be able to wear awesome stylish clothes, be British,and have a balanced work and social life.
one of my favorite things! I love interval training, but few things are more annoying than constantly checking your watch to see when an interval should end, particularly during the work interval. This little sucker beeps and/or vibrates to let you know when to stop or start.

The page that started it all. Did this one last year and it was the first that was a journal page as I do them today. Before this it was mostly journaling with a watercolor sketch thrown in.
My son was very sweet and told me that at least I did a good job on the bathing suits. heh.
My mood from that day was something like.. a little bit of everything. I was sleepy, happy, shy, mad, incredible ... impatient.
